Welcome to DILD class!
Ok, so you already have some experience, that's good. I bet, all you need a little change to your RCs and adding some daytime awareness.
The most important thing that will get you lucid is your daytime awareness. Many people, me included, go through the life as we were on autopilot. When I go to store, I already know which way to go, don't have to pay attention to street names, to cars around me, to the weather, to people or sidewalks, to signs on storefronts. I just drive, only paying enough attention to keep me and those arround me safe. If there was something different that day, I wouldn't even notice, because I don't pay attention to it.
So, why would I act any differently in my dreams. I don't look around, don't question what's new, just go through it without paying attention.
To change this, so you start in your dream asking yoruself where you are, what is all that around you, you have to start doing this during day.
For this, there is
ADA. I'm sure you have seen it around DV.
An excellent explanation of awareness is in sageouses article
Self-awareness. He wrote it for WILD, but it works for all LDs.
And here is short
awareness + RCs and mantras - Collection of techniques for DILD technique you start with. This is what worked for me for first 30-40 LDs.
RCs by themself don't get you lucid. The awareness does. The "wow, am I dreaming?" question you ask yourself. And don't forget about excitement. I bet that's what helped your frieds in getting lucid. Good luck and let me know how it goes and any questions you may have. :alien:
