Welcome Soldi! :) So the only "course materials" are in the sticky threads at the top of this subsection here: DILD :) In your workbook here you can post your progress and ask questions and we will work to help you along, attempting to customize our answers to your situation. It is a great idea to regularly post your progress. It helps you to track what has worked in the past (and you may have stopped doing because you forgot about that aspect) and also to track and see what is not working. I am not referring to something working overnight, but sometimes after a few weeks you can tell that a particular technique is not for you.
You mentioned not being able to remember dreams very well. Recall is definitely a great place to start. The simplest thing you can do is don't get up right away. Lay in your bed as you wake up and just kind of relax and sometimes the dream recall starts popping into your head. Keeping your dream journal will set the importance of recall into your mind. You can also practice by journaling your day's activities...this helps get your mindset right for better dream recall. If you are really good and might be writing too much by recalling your day, just recall a segment of your day in as much detail as you can...the little details help. :)
