      HansiElneff's workbook

      Hi, I'm Hansi, I'm 15, and I'm new to everything when it comes to dreaming. I have a terrible dream recall, and all I have so far is a stable sleep patteren, and okay meditation skills, and then I also do a few reality checks every day (looking at my hands, and plugging my nose while breathing.) I really hope this course will lead me to lucid dreaming!
      So.. What do I do now?

      Okay, I had a false awakening this morning, but I missed it, and did not become lucid
      It was very vivid though. I had a hard time convincing myself that I was awake after waking up from it.

      Recognizing that you are having FAs, even after the fact, is the first step to catching them! Were you using any techniques during the night? Are you doing anything towards improving recall currently?

      I use the mantra "I remember my dreams" for 5-10 minutes before I go to sleep. Then when I wake up, I try ti lay as still as possible, to remember my dreams, and write them down.

      That is a good start for recall. Are you seeing any improvement in recall yet? Do you have any questions?

      Yea, I went from never remembering my dreams, to remember 1 every third day

      Glad to hear that you are making some progress. I would recommend that you keep up your recall routine at least until you have a few dreams remembered every night. Have you tried wake back to bed yet?

      Okay, and nope

      This night I was only able to remember one dream fragment... and my very first lucid dream!! It was amazing! So life like o:
      Can't wait to try it again!

      Of all of the things you must have read about either linked above or around the forums in general, what feels most right to you? Options that immediately come to mind include identifying as many dream signs as you can, extended RC's, self-awareness work, WBTB, and mantras before bed.
