Hello! My name is Hans Otto, or Hansi as I prefer. (No, I'm not German...) |

I'm currently trying to improve my recall and sleep quality, so I might not post much progress here until I've gotten that down. |

Hello HansiElneff! And welcome to the DILD class! Yes lucid dreaming is amazing, and is (almost?) the most fun you can have in bed! It's great that you've had some lucids already, so you already know you can do it. To start off with, why don't you write a bit more info about your dreaming background, what you've read, and if you have any day/night work practices that you already do or are reviving, and we can take it from there! |

Okay, my background is that I've studied a lot of different stuff on this forum, read a book about LDing (I've forgotten most of it though), managed to have a few very short LDs (max. 5 min.) and I'm currently reading Stephen LaBerge's EWOLD. I've stopped everything I was doing before and am now doing the stuff the book (EWOLD) tells about, which currently is dream journaling. |
|
I'm a big fan of ETWOLD. It's how I started and following it to the letter got me my first dozen LDs and beyond. Dream journaling, reality checks, prospective memory exercises, critical reflection/intention moments, and WBTB + MILD are extremely powerful. A solid game plan would be follow LaBerge for several months and see how far it can take you. You may find you want to adapt some practices, or you may find it fits you perfectly and just keep doing it. |

Thanks a lot for your ideas on developing a strong recall! It sure helped a lot! |
