NickSeagull's Workbook 🕊🕊🕊
Hello everyone!
Some of you might know me from the IRC. I'm Nick and I've been an oneironaut for a while.
Through my journeys in the realm of dreams I have accomplished some stuff that I think it is cool:
- Float around
- Open portals
- Cast magic
- Summon a deceased relative
- Meet my dream guide
- Teleport myself into space
I don't consider myself an expert, not even an intermediate, in fact I'm really a newbie with lots of theory-reading
and not that much practical applications.
I've had quite some lucid dreams using these different techniques, in order of success:
- DILD
- SSILD
- MILD
- DEILD (Although some might argue that this is a WILD)
- Once accomplished a WILD
When I started, I started using CAT, but after two weeks of getting really tired, I dropped it.
During the day, I try to be mindful of my daily life, being aware passively of as much as I can, although I use critical thinking and sense expansion as my reality checks.
In fact, I've joined the academy last year, but I'm remaking this thread because of the same thing that I'm not progressing that much:
After a while I tend to drop off the lucid way. It's sad because it makes me appreciate my waking life much more :cheeky: . This happens because of overwhelming due to work and studies, but also due to the fact that not many people in my surroundings take lucid dreaming seriously (a friend of mine just started his journey, let's see if I can hook him up :D ).
As I stated before, most of my lucid dreams are DILDs. But I don't know why I lost a lot of dream recall. Three or four months after I just started I used to recall 4 to 6 dreams per night. Although they were more fragments than anything I think it was really nice.
Nowadays I can barely remember my dreams, and when I wake up I can just remember if I had a lucid dream or not, and I only remember the moment I got lucid.
I'm joining the academy to see if I can improve, and also, because I miss my DreamViews family :D
Time to work!
