      Smile Creativity of imagination

Since I'm a heavy daydreamer my imagination is very vivid and clear. It's easy to imagine things. But I want to visualize things that are very hard to or improbable to be able to.

I'm not talking about random and lot of things(violet colored buffalo flies through the universe with a cape that metamorphs into ancient Egypt's gods.). I'm talking about things that take time to imagine. For example the famous 360 degree vision. It takes a little bit of thinking how do you want to achieve that vision, but it's possible to visualize.

Concepts such as love, hatred, death etc. are things that you associate to(eg. for love I think of someone I love etc)... so they vary person to person. But I want something that is fixed.

Because I have poor eyesight I feel like colors aren't so luminous as they are in dreams or on psychedelics. So by changing the luminosity of a color and the transparency, new intriguing colors can emerge.(I think they are new to me so I'm okay with that.)

I lack the vocabulary of imagination on these kind of things. So please add anything that you can think is hard to visualize or you can't at all.

Good point, since we visualize in 2D, so 3D is hard aswell. Although I don't understand M-theory, I watched some documentary on it, but that I do something else could occur in the other dimension than in another one(?). With that notion I could somewhat create a scenario. But yeah, I'll look more into this.

Also I realized that we think in pictures, not in motion. But I think that I imagine in motion, but I'm not sure of it, really confusing. Just trying a single handwave it seems continuous, but it's maybe not.

I'm not sure it falls under visualization, but playing with time is interesting as well. Is it possible to experience several events at once?

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

I daydream a lot too, so it's very easy for me to imagine what things look like within the dream world. Colors in my dreams are normal to slightly less saturated, but they're still there.

Weird I can easily visualize like you guys; heavy day dreamer, yet colors in my dream are extremly saturated. Grass is incredibly green, water is incredibly blue..

Also to OP, take a knife and cut a hole in the air. Climb through it!

Quantum Non-locality makes my brain hurt. 360 degree vision would be amazing tho.

I wonder what would happen.. probably return to that glitchy abyssal plane again lol.

Happened once to me. My dream totally collapsed on me into pieces and I fell into a dark abyss where I was floating. Apparently if you go beyond the boundries of this plane you enter random dreams.

The creepiest part was when I was explaining this story to some people on IRC, someone linked a picture of EXACTLY what it looked like..

I've had a similar experience. I tried to teleport to a new location, and everything fell into pure blackness. Gravity still worked, though.

I had to carefully construct a tangible, tactile doorway to get out of there.

This looks cool. I daydream alot and try to do things i want to do in my LDs. It's just not the same though... 360 degree vision would be awesome, something i haven't thought of. If you figure out how to get it would you mind PMing me? It would really help me acheive some of my fighting goals. I thought of someting, why don't you take a pill that gives you 360 degree vision and let ur subconcious come up with the rest?
I have returned, but I'm not the same

I daydream virtually every day, although sometimes i start daydreaming without even realising it!

Although the daydreams that start without me realising are much more vivid compared to when i start daydreaming voluntarily.

i always wanted to rip a hole in the space time continuum :O
you could also, see smells.like lavender you saw as a pattern floating around or something. I always thought thatd be awesome. you could take a piece of chalk, pencil, pen, and start drawings things that come to life on paper or in the air.seeing an drawn dragon rip itself off a piece of paper an fly away would be awesome. the last time i attempted drawing things in the air though,my pen wrote in fire.... so i had to race to draw my door -__-

Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.
I think it's in my basement... let me go upstairs and check.
