      Stabilization and teleportation issues

      Hey everyone,

I've been having a lot of success with WBTB WILDs and DILDs lately, but the dreams are short-lived because I can't seem to get them to stabilize, or when I do, the dream ends abruptly if I try to travel outside of my room.

I typically WILD into an FA in my bed, then roll out of bed and look around. Things look blurry, so I do the hand rubbing trick, which makes the dream totally clear and vivid. This is all great, but I can't seem to get out of my room. The first time, I tried spinning my dream body to stabilize the dream, then tried to imagine a place outside to end up in when I stopped spinning. However, spinning seems to just cause my dreams to reset to another FA, and usually wake up from that (wake up for real, I mean; I always do an RC when I wake up).

This morning, I tried to open the door in my room and use it as a portal to get out of my house, but the door simply led into the next room of my house (and then my DC parents came running at me for no reason, so I slammed the door in their faces and attempted to spin around and teleport instead, which again caused the dream to reset and forced me awake a few seconds later).

So anyway, have any of you had issues with your dream randomly shoving you back into an FA whenever you do something like spinning your body? And what do you guys do to travel distances quickly? I'm considering just walking out the front door next time and then flying or walking somewhere instead of trying to transport myself, because that seems to be problematic.

Hm, if your dream doesn't let you go out of the room, make the room into the new place? Like, smash it and then expect the new location to be at the other side.
Also, if spinning causes FAs, you could try to just rub your hands again, or stare at something in the dream, or at your hands.

I would suggest walking out of the room into the next room then outside. Teleportation can be very destabilizing. It might be more possible once the dream has gone on for a little while. I usually have several FAs in a row when WILDing, and get farther and farther from my bed each time until eventually I transition to a different location.

Yeah, I guess I'll just stick to rubbing my hands and finding other ways to engage my senses. I used to be able to spin my body just fine, but now I guess my brain has the idea that spinning causes FAs and I'm going to be stuck with that for a while...

The dream lets me go out of my room to an extent, but I can't travel to another place like my school or workplace or something directly. I guess I still have the idea that the door in my room should lead to the next room in my house, and I don't have enough control to get over that notion yet. I'll try just leaving my house as I normally would tomorrow and see what happens.
