Using Dream Logic
Hello,
First let me say I have struggled with dream control for some time now especially when it comes to summoning things or changing the dreamscape. However after reading a small part in LaBerge's book on Schema's found in 'The Building of Dreams" chapter. I have had more then one lucid dream where I have had complete control to the point I was able to summon any thing I wanted when I wanted with no trouble. I was even able to use this dream logic to a point to say in the dream before it faded.
I did this using dream logic against it's self while lucid. For an example The other night I had a dream where I was on a movie set, but I wanted to go to the mall to try and continue a dream I had earlier in the night. I was able to get to the mall telling myself since I was on a movie set back lot (in a desert no less) if I walk up a short hill very nearby where I was standing I would see the mall and be there. Sure enough this worked for me and I was there at the mall before I even started walking up the hill. This also worked for me to conjure objects.
So basically instead of willing the object to be there I made the object be there by using the "meat" of the dream around me to create it and make it fit into the dream logic system.
Not sure if this will help anyone else with control, but I wanted to share my first time success in dream control. I hope there are more nights using Dream logic to my benefit :cheeky:
Take Care,
D.G. :jester:

Whats strange for me I guess is I found out how to control my dreams before I ever knew about this lucid dreaming stuff. I figured it out myself from a recurring dream. When i have that dream I instantly go lucid now. it took a while but I learned to completely control it now. I have never tried to make something that wasnt there. To create a whole new dream I just teleport into another story completely. In stead of creating everything around me I think of it as already there and I am just in another place. So yeah I can make a building spring up from nowhere but my thought process to get it there was thinking that it was already there I just had to let it be there.

It's logic plus belief actually. If you say x will y z because w and you believe it, it will work. So, for example. Jesus will come from this door to have a tea party with me because in my head I'm God, the son of God and the Holy Spirit if I want to be, sure enough Jesus will join you for a cup of Earl Gray. Now I need to test my advice. brb gotta go to sleep.
