Read those tutorials. If you're still having problems with either technique after getting lucid and trying it, then reply to this thread....which is going to the dream control section.
I do telekinesis naturally in my dreams, though it's short range and small objects only until now. Threw a couple of humanoids around too but that's pretty much it. I suggest pointing your palm toward the object you want to throw around with your arm stretched and just force it to float around. Imagine it doing so or try to feel it or something. You'll find a way.
I flew for the first time in a LD last night. It was cool. Since I joined this forum Iīve noticed the idea thrown around so much that I thought Iīd try. One other time I attempted to climb up on something and levitate and couldnīt then I jumped off the tanble anda little balcony that it was on and felt vertigo. I opened my eyes and I was slithering along the gound like a snake. I stood up and dusted myself off and changed the music that was playing in the background as an experiment. Last night before I slept I read over the dream control tutorials and made a strong affirmitive statemnet that I would have a ld when I slept and within the first few moments of my first dream of the night that I have recall of I realized I was dreaming. I rubbed my hands together and blew on them(as I read on dv) and the dream got clearer and I didnīt feel any inkling of the dream losing strength. I walked out of the house I was in and jumped into the air, high, then landed. Then I jumped really high and came back down then I jumped higher and the cityscape below disappeared and I was in a hazy indefinite blackness, I donīt remember stars so well but there were definitley stars when I first walked outside. I slowly peaked and started tumbling towards the city below picking up speed and then I tried spinning as I fell out of control toward the ground. I was in the street again and then with a couple of immense leaps I was at the house I started from. Then I had a dream at that house with good recall and a plot where I painted a picture that was a replica of a painting that someone had made in order to keep their lifeforce in so that it could be brought back into a body at a later time (I watched Ghostbusters II a week ago, I donīt know). My plan was to steal the original and replace it with the one I was painting and I was explaining it to someone that I couldnīt identify after waking (maybe when youīre talking to yourself in a dream you might as well just have someone there listening). The painting was of a blue creature/being with an oddly shaped oblong head. Anyway, the point was that after being lucid the dream plot more or less subsumed me again but the experience of painting was really cool, like sweeping the colors out onto the canvas. I had a dream weeks before that of drawing a picture for someone with similar swift strokes in a matter of seconds that was also exciting. I read tonight that flying too high can make you lose detail and lucidity and maybe thatīs what happened to me bc until then I had never become lucid and then continued a dream to itīs conclusion. I always experimented until waking up.
Last night I had my first Lucid Dream for months...I flew and used telekineses.
Flying: I jumped up and down once. Then I repeated to myself "gravity does not exist" and I began to float upwards. Easy.
Telekineses: I stretched out my arms toward an object (it happened to be a pillow on my kitchen table). It came to me because I expected it to, easy as that.
Just eliminate any doubt from your mind and anything can happen.
Flying: Run and jump, and stick your arms out. Expect it to work. Be assertive.
Telekinesis: This method has never failed on me. Take a pill out of your pocket. Understand that it is a telekinesis pill. Take the pill. Enter the matrix. Just kidding. Take the pill and get telekinesis. Point your hand at something and act like you're picking it up from a distance, sort of like a jedi.
interesting methods here. can't wait to try them out.
In my first WILD, I just ran to the window, jumped out and flew without really thinking anything. But then I looked at the ground and started falling down.
After a false awakening, I flew again, this time spinning in the air as in zero gravity.
If you want advice from a newbie, don't think too much :)
lol, there was this time... i wanted to fly.. but actually i had the iron man suit.. XDDDD so i went likee iron man in the movie.. and put my hands to my sides... ( you see iron man has some propulsion devices to fly in his hands ) and just though of going up.. and the devices turned on.. and i was in the air... O:...
maybe you need to try to dress like superman first.. lol.. the only times i've flied i was super heros... i've flied 3 times.. 1 i was spider man.. ( well that time i was swinging but whatever ), then i was the human torch... and the last one as iron man.. : D
Marvel Heroes.. Rockkk
If you think u can fly u can. I doubted myself last night in a lucid and fucked it up. I jumped 20 feet but it didn't get me to the moon.
Just intent. All other methods are gimmicks that act as training wheels for your confidence.
You don't need a flying suit, jet packs, anti gravity pills etc, just will it.
When you move your arm in a certain direction your arm is just responding you your intent. Dreams will work the same way.
When you realize this you can fly around doing hairpin maneuvers with ease, as each movement will be an instantaneous response to your will.
