      Getting kind of frustrating...

I've had two lucid dreams, so I'm actually not annoyed by the lack of LDs. Rather, I'm annoyed by how I always seem to want to try and fly in them.

I read somewhere that it took someone ten years to learn to fly, and I don't believe I've ever had a dream about flying, so I'm going to try a different tact.

The problem is, I'm kind of stuck on the idea of flying. Every time I realize I'm dreaming, I immediately run off and try to figure out how to fly. Is there anyway to remind myself to STOP and actually do something else while in my dream?

Pretend you are dreaming right now. What do you want to do? Do it.

      This is how you practice.

Pre plan a different activity before you go to sleep.

If you want to practice telekinesis, think about it during the day and make it your goal for the dream. The point is not to have to think up something new to do while you are already in the dream, because often you will just fall back on things you have already tried before (ie flying.)

I imagine new things to try while I am awake, so as soon as I find myself in a dream I can get straight to it without having to stop and think on the spot.
