2D dream/advice?
Note: I posted this in the newb section since this is my first post, but looking around here more I think this is a better place for answers!
Usually when I have a lucid dream I can reliably control both my movements and the dream setting (I have a fun little routine of flying then teleporting as soon as I gain lucidity). I had one last night, but I experienced a really frustrating problem for the first time, though. Once I realized I was dreaming, the setting suddenly became 2D -- it was like I was in front of a TV screen. Although I could control what was on it, I couldn't enter the scene. I tried to jump into it at one point but couldn't -- I didn't even have a body to jump with! Obviously spinning/etc aren't of any help. Have any of you experienced this? Advice appreciated :)

Hmmm... I haven't. Maybe you think something like "Wait, I'm watching my tv in my living room!" Then BAM, you're in your living room. Idk, just a theory

I've heard people suggest in dreams where you're watching yourself from the third person perspective to "rotate the camera" until your viewpoint is the same as the "you" that you've been watching, then to blink hard and hopefully you're in the body. Worth a shot?

Thanks for the advice! Can't wait to try it once I can actually get lucid again! Seems to come in spurts :/. I've been reading the forums semi-obsessively trying to prime myself for it though.
