      Suggestions For Summoning Elements?

For some reason I have a really hard time summoning elements in dreams. Every time I have tried to (it's usually fire, but I've tried lightning and frost I believe) nothing appears. But yet I use the same methods as summoning other things, so I'm having a hard time figuring out this roadblock.

I usually use the passive method (expecting something to be there) or I shout what I want (FLY!!! NOW!!! I SAID NOW DAMNIT!!!). I can summon bows and guns very easily; I just pretend to do the motion (i.e. pretend to have a pistol and shoot it) and voila I have an invisible gun that actually shoots. But I haven't had success for fire or any element with all of these methods.

So, any suggestions on how I could summon elements and create epic explosions? Being more of a fantasy geek, guns just don't cut it for me.

Well, there actually were two ideas as to what the Elements were in the ancient Greek world, one of them, the most important, has been forgotten in history. The forgotten Elements were two, a things form and a things material difference. This is really the magical set, for it is the foundation of all reason and life itself.

And if you want to create an epic explosion, well, I am ahead of you on that, I have been working with these elements for a while.

I do have one suggestion, if you find there is something you cannot do in a lucid dream, it may be because you are not allowed to. It may be time to think about the why.

Watch videos of how fire and other elements act, and videos of explosions. If you visualize something, or premeditate a scenario through daydreaming during the day time, it makes it easier to actually do these things in your lucids. And dream control boils down to expectation. Have no doubts that you'll be able to summon frost, fire, and anything else you can think of. Dreams aren't real life, so you can do anything.

If you leave your expectations that you won't be able to create anything at the door, it'll help tremendously.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

A frame of reference often helps. Example, snapping (as Roy does in Fullmetal Alchemist) to cause explosions would be easy. If you want to shoot lightning, watch Avatar (the show), and see azula, and look at how she does it, copy the general motions, and voila. Make sure not to stick with those though, you can explode things without snapping, and it'll be much easier to once you know how it feels to explode something.

As for fire, Avatar once again. Punches for fireballs, and lots of kicks and spins. Martial arts is extremely easy in dreams, as you'll know if you've ever fought hand to hand in a dream.

Thanks for the suggestions I will try to try them when I get lucid again.

Ironically though, I did summon fire last night in a non-lucid dream. -.-
