Controlling non-lucids?
Is it just me or do any of yall ever do this? I sometimes have non lucids in which I have full control over my mind/body and even in some cases enviroment but the thought never occurs to me that Im in a dream. my thought process in those normally goes something like this... "Hmm the other day I was reading about psychic stuff and so maybe reading that has awoken powers within me" I completely believe that it is real even though I can tell how insane it is.
I remember these dreams like I would if they were lucid dreams and they feel like real memories i just never realize that it is a dream until I try to use the powers in WL and cant do it.

Yes, I've experienced that. A high degree of control (including flying, teleporting and using portals) without realising I'm lucid.

Some people think this is lucid dreaming, but it is not. LDs are like reality, sometimes even clearer. I had one like this, this morning. When i talk to people about lucid dreaming, they either say they can control them or they don't give a sh*t about it. The ones who say they can control them are most likely talking about these kind of dreams, which can also be called semi-lucid ones (or they just can't accept the fact that they don't control them and lie even to themselves). When you are lucid, you realize that you are in a dream, and that you are sleeping in your bed. In these semi-lucids, you get some control, maybe even say you're dreaming, but it's not your conscious mind that says that, if that makes sense. Doing a Reality Check usually makes you lucid. And in my case, usually wakes me up after a few seconds, even though i use stabilization. It's probably a lack of experience.

Yes, I've controlled a load of non-lucid dreams before, probably because I'm completely "out" mentally so I don't remember the laws of physics and everything. :P

So even if you are in complete control and thinking 80% rationally (cant say 100 because you still miss the dream) the only thing that separates a regular dream from a lucid one is just saying that you are dreaming? Even though you can consciously act out all your fantasies in both. Though you are more likely to in a lucid dream than you are in a non lucid that you control because in the regular ones you will think there will be real consequences

Exactly! After all, you believe regular dreams to be real while you're in them, but it might be skewed from real life such as you having powers or being in a different location.

I've had quite a few of these, especially when I was younger, especially flying around all the time. I'd also decide I didn't want to be seen and DCs would look for me and not find me. I'd even gone as far as thinking "If I was lucid I'd..." and took action, but never realized I was dreaming.
Being truly "lucid" means being fully aware of the fact that you're dreaming. Some people come up with different terms such as "semi-lucid" "pre-lucid" "pseudo-lucid" and so forth, but it's really up to the dreamer to decide whether or not they were lucid, per say.
