      completely weird dreams

      so I'm not sure which section this would go in, but whatever.

      anyway, most of the time when i dream, my dreams are action-packed, or just really crazy(probably because i am a totally crazy person) which makes it hard to do a reality checks when i'm engaged in some epic battle or just doing awesome things. it also makes it hard to keep a dream journal because everything that happens is so ape-crazy, its hard to write down.

      my question is, is there anyway to make my dreams less crazy, or am i just going to have to wait for a more docile dream to achieve lucidity

      Action packed dreams tend to be more linear, a result of left brain activity. They should be the easiest to describe.

      You could try sleeping on your left side to induce more abstract right brain dreams, but they would be even harder to describe.
