So I just had 2 LDs last night and in one of them to make the dream more real looking without realizing I was in a dream yet, I put on glasses. Because it made it so vivid I became lucid later. But they weren't sun glasses. They were glasses that help your sight like real life. I think I should try this more often because it works really well. hahaha.
Have any of you done this or are gonna try this? If so post your results.
This kinda made me laugh a little because in my most recent LD, I felt like I was wearing foggy glasses, so I took them off and it was clearer.
Hahaha, thats pretty funny. Well for me It cleared everything up.

I tried this out last night, I remember being next to a desk and I went into the other room and tried to make some glasses appear on the desk, I failed. I went to the desk and rummaged around for a bit, looking away try to make them appear. I tried just making the glasses appear in my hands to. Fail. lol. I'll try again when I can

I was wearing glasses in one of my dreams and was very surprised.I thought I forgot to put on my contacts.The glasses made things pretty blurry though...

Hm, I last night i yelled INCREASE CLARITY! and it didnt make it as clear when i put my glasses on.
It might only work with people that have bad eyesight in real life like me. because people who don't, usually try glasses on and it does the opposite effect.
Oh ya, I also almost did a WILD last night, when i felt the sleep paralysis settling in I started getting too excited, my heart sped up and I got out of it :(

Almost did it, but I woke up before I could. :(
This is a neat idea. I don't wear glasses or contacts in real life; maybe I'll try this sometime and see what happens.

It's pretty fascinating how your mind translates both an opinion ("I look better without glasses") and a fact ("I have blurry vision without glasses") into the way things are in your dreams. Good luck!Quote:

I'll try that out next LD and report back [sometime within the next two weeks]. Cool idea, shouting "stabilize!" didn't work too well for me.
I think you should only yell stabilize if the dream is fading.
"INCREASE CLARITY" is the one you should be using in the middle of a dream.
Also i think that the louder you try to say it, the better.
Good to know, I will keep that in mind. Still working on the next LD.
I should try this. Even though my dreams are quite vivid as it is.

OKAY I DID IT. I summoned the glasses by pretending to wipe their lenses on my shirt. I put them on and as a woman walked by, everything was sharper. I put on one more pair, but no increase, all you need is one pair of glasses, haha, anyway...great tip. :)
Awesome! Glad it worked. I always forget to do this when I go in my lucids. Bleh.
Darn it doesn't work for me. I always wear my glasses almost 24/7 sometimes i even go to bed and forget to take them off so i enter my dreams wearing glasses and when I try to take them off they either stick to my face or just make the dream unstable and when i do get them off the clarity drops. I have to get used to not wearing my glasses so much in waking life before i try this technique again
If it is blurry, it could be because you expect it to be. I have fine vision and any glasses i wear in real life makes everything burry. But i know it works i have read a couple dream journals of people successfully employing this technique. If it ever is too dark and you just can't seem to illuminate the scene, say out loud "oh, why and i wearing sunglasses?" and then take them off. Ta-da! instant light. I laughed out loud when i read someone else doing this. :lol:
I really want to try this out but i don't know it works underwater because the vision is aways blurry and I want it to be clearer :D
