      My first Lucid Dream experience.

Ok, so over the last week I did research on lucid dreaming. I followed the steps such as "asking yourself if your dreaming throughout the day" and things like that.

So last night I was having a dream and noticed this didnt feel right. I asked myself in dream if I was dreaming. I noticed I was and got real excited. After I noticed I was dreaming it got a little blurry and less clear. I guess I was starting to wake up?

Anyway I did wake up soon after and wasn't able to necessarily control my dream. Is this normal? Like I didnt fly around or anything.

      Feedback on this please

BTW I was so excited of this first experience I kept going back to sleep and skipped my class's today. lol

lol, that's pretty amusing. Next time just relax if you can, and look at your hands, that may clear things up.

      Haha

That's exactly what happened to me.. except i didn't skip classes lol.

What helped me to stay lucid and improve my dream was to walk around slowly and examine my surroundings. I still can't control my dreams very well.. but I'm good at chillin in dream land lol. Practice practice practice! good luck! I want to hear how it goes

I’m very often aware that I’m dreaming.
Sometimes I tell myself that I don’t want to wake up especially when I dream about my parents.
I don’t have them any longer. But I never succeed in controlling my dreams. I guess that’s just normal.
