Lightbulb Dream control: tier 2, FINALLY!

      Tier 1: Lucidity

Tier 2: I have finally reached TIER 2 of my dream control plan. It concision of being able to do following things: being able to have super human abilities such as: high jump and telekineses. It took me a while!

Tier 3: More advanced super human techniques such as: "fire/air/water/earthbending" and flying/hovering.

      Tier 4: Summoning objects/Dream Characters

Tier 5: Being able to control "world physics" (global gravity etc...) and control of DC

Tier 6: Full control of the dream "time line"

Tier 7: Dream GOD - Being able to do anything

It's funny because I don't know the exact meaning of the word "Tier" lol!

      My awesome quote:
"It took 7 days to create the world, it will take me 7 steps to master my own."

PS: You are welcome to use my step system if you like, it would be nice if you give me some credit if you're posting it

but why is this at all important? I'm not sure what the point of having tiers of control is.

that first tier doesn't make much sense. lucidity isn't dream control.

also we have an entire sub-forum for this. put your threads in the right place.

It just seems completely arbitrary, though. To a large extent, something is only as difficult as you make it out to be.

No offense, but these tries don't exactly relate right. For the ones I have done, the came in this order, Tier 1, 5, 4, 6,...so yeah...

this tier thing is extremely limitating. Also you should try everything, there is no reason for tier 5 to be harder than tier 3. Then, as a general rule in lucid dreaming, remember to define as little as possible. There are two rules in lucid dreaming, to have success at dream control:
      1. Anything is possible.
pretty self explanatory, never forget it.
2.Everything needs your attention to exist
this is fairly simple to explain: when you turn your head in your room, you will have to sede the next part of youtr room, so your brain will have to create it. Therefore your brain createas things whenever you require it to make you see or feel something. So to create things, you just have to concentrate on where you want them to be with the thing you want in mind, it will appear. If you ignore things, they will fade away. This is the key to dream control and stability.
when i have a lucid dream the first thing I will do isorder a pizza.

      PIZZA
      pizza is sacred.

I understand your idea behind the dreaming tiers. In my own personal experience, not all lucids are created equal. As in, one night I could be lucid, and not have control over anything... actually this has happened to me Nothing went right. Not from the lack of abilities, just some dreams are going to be that way.

And the next night, I could jump from tier 2 - tier 7 (I agree with Walms, too. 7 is boring. I usually just control my own abilities, but I let the dream continue to throw me challenges and plots).

Your idea with tiers is to prove your lucid abilities, which is fine... I keep a check list of things I'm able to accomplish too... but just understand that not every lucid is going to be like tier 7, even once you obtain tier 7

Cool, I like the idea for the purpose of showing your expertise in lucid dreaming.

well, for me all dreams are equal, but I can't jump like that, its like my experience is saved and i have to train, so it works for me

You can, but my only point is, there is no harder, or easier in dreams, it's just it you know you can

when i will be lucid i will use something like this but more diffrent
im not working with tiers or stuff.
i will be a god of some sort anyways in my dreamworld
the only diffrence is that i optain certain abilities and powers by defeating my foes and consume them..
      sorta like prototype.
but if possible i will already have masterd the basic moves like flying and super human speed and such

I still think that it is counterproductive to think of things in tiers.

It always bugs me to see people make tiers or classifications, or talk about their 'special dream abilities' and things like that. Feels like they're turning dreaming into Warcraft, and they can't purchase expert riding until they've purchase journeyman riding. Why try to put rules and regs in dreaming, which is naturally without them?

But that's just me, so if it works for you keep on rockin'.
