Blindspots and Heavy Eyes during an LD

Ive found I can attain lucidity fairly consistently by setting my alarm to go off 5 hours after i fall asleep. When it goes off, I'll try to WILD (unsuccessful so far) and eventually stop trying and fall back asleep. Alot of the time, just putting lucid dreaming at the center of my attention will give me a DILD after I go back asleep and start dreaming.

My last 3 lucid's however have had a huge problem: vision. My motor control is fine, my tactile sense is fine, but for whatever reason, my vision will have huge gaping holes in it. Its sometimes just a black spot, but I remember seeing silver and red once. Last night, I distinctly remember the blind spot actually being a vision of my room from where I was sleeping. It took about 75% of my vision where the other 25% was a large platform I was standing on when I attained lucidity. Sometimes with the blind spots comes the sense of my eyes being extremely heavy, impossible to open further.

The blind spots usually hit a few seconds after I attain lucidity whether I do dream stabilization or not. The one last night actually threw off my dream stabilization method and gave me a false awakening. If anyone has had this problem or has a possible solution I'd love to hear it.

when I was dreaming and trying to remember how did I get here , I got fake memories !
then I became unaware again -.-
but I think that happened because I wasn't so aware.
I hope that I success next time

I have had this happen to me once but I did not have enough time to experiment with ways of trying to get rid of it. Try this method, yell out what you want.

      good luck.

I experience the same problem, also a heavily blurred and distorted vision, blind spots and really heavy eyes. When I close them in the dream and open them again I usually have FAs.

Recently I got rid of it by yelling "More clarity" or stuff like that, like elucid proposed

As mentioned, you could try verbal commands like "Increase Clarity". But it sounds like there might be more to it than just dark or blurry images. If verbal commands don't work then you might want to try an alternative approach.

It almost sounds like there is a slight disconnect between your dreaming and waking self, which is why you are seeing partly into a dream and partly into your darkened room. The trick is to simply be more present in your dream, just by thinking or willing yourself to be more fully present in the dream. Try to imagine it as a conscious choice to enter a bright vivid dream, and it will become so. When you get experienced enough you will be able to transition back and forth between the dream and waking worlds without losing continuity with either. This is especially common when napping during the day or during the morning hours, when you are more naturally awake and therefore more aware of the real world.
