Passively "know" what's going to happen, and you can do anything. It's like pretending you're in a movie that you've seen a billion times over. |

I have a question about how you guys use expectations for control. So i have two competing theories when trying to summon something or change the environment. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Some times I'll use a door, walk around a corner, or just close my eyes. I often say out loud our "loudly" in my head that there will be X location around this corner. I fill in a little details, like if i want to go to a tropical island i will imagine a beach with palm trees, but i let my subconscious fill in the little details, such as how much sand, how tall the trees are, what fruits are on the trees. |

Im not explaining it that well. the quick, subconscious method is still meant to be a form a passive control. a better example is if i say "oh yeah...this door goes to those rolling hills...i cant believe i forgot...duh." its like i try to mimic an actual thought and trick my mind that i truly forgot. i have noticed it works better when i involve a DC. like i say, "this DC told me it was here." i also get good results when i tell the DC to open the door for me. |

Right, I get it now. That's a good method to use, and it can work as well as silently expecting something to happen - I actually use it sometimes and it's only failed me once! |
