      problem with the eyes!

      hi everyone,

Recently, I have some problems with opening the eyes in LDs. When I woke up in LDs ( after successful WILD attempts) I felt my body was in the LD except the eyes! I still had the physical feeling with the eyes. That why I felt hard to open my eyes in LDs. And in some LDs, when I tried to open the eyes, I ended up with opening my real eyes.
In my newest LD, I tried not to open the eyes and use imagination to see things. However, the vision was very blurred and I still felt the physical eyes. These problems didn't show up when I went LD by DILD (or dream consciousness).

I want to open eyes easily in the LD with not feeling the physical eyes, and a clear vision. That's my wish for now. Do you know how to handle these problems? please give me some advices, thank you very much!

This isn't gonna help much, but I had a similar problem a couple nights ago after my first successful WILD - I could only open my right eye, my left stayed closed. (I hope this isn't going to be a recurring problem...) I think my left eye may have been pressed up against a pillow irl, or at least that's what I was thinking in the dream, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Some things I tried that you might have better luck with if you're having trouble seeing.. tried forcing it open with my hands, which sort of worked, but it wouldn't stay open and was really blurry. This is just a thought so I could be wrong, but it seems like that might help with trying to open your dream eyes instead of your physical eyes, since the rest of you is in the dream and you're not actually moving your eyelid to do it?
I also tried pretending that I'd put an eyepatch on earlier and that I could fix my vision by taking it off. My recall wasn't very good this time so I can't actually remember if that did anything. And if you can get as far as having blurred vision, something I've heard a few times is to try to find a pair of glasses and put them on, knowing they'll make things clearer.

Try to go lucid with in the dream (Dild) as you have before atleast then you know you will have vision that you can control with stabilization commands. namaste. Also Sleep paralysis can be localized to certain parts of the body in your case its the eyes. Firm Higher lucidity commands seem to break down my sp with in the dream, so i would try that also if you come across it while doing your wild techniques.

I heard of this problem before. One trick that was mentioned was to flip yourself upside down. Either do a handstand or float upside down, as long as gravity is pulling your head away from your body.

Apparently, in real life we find it difficult to close our eyes normally when up side down. Maybe this would translate into your dream? I don't know if it would last or it you could imagine the effect of gravity being up side down well enough.

Just give it a try, you never know.

I've never tried using my hand to open the eyes in dreams. That sounds promising! I'll try it.

You could also try verbal commands. Shout something like, "EYE..... OPEN!!!!" lol. Or something like that. Could help
