Never had this experience, but it seems like something worth cultivating if it works for you! I'll have to try this some time. |

I tried this technique last night acting on the adivce of a dream character (possibly my dream guide, though I'm not sure). For a while now, as soon as I become lucid my dreams have lost vividness, and have either faded to blackness or became more like a daydream than anything else. Usually this is followed by waking, or a false awakening. |

That seems funny. One of the things I want to learn is impersonation of a DC. Espionage spy movie material, I guess. |

I did it again last night. It was successful in preventing me from going into the Void. Things started to get vivid, but I was in the middle of a fight with a DC thug when I got lucid, and he didn't let up. The vividness allowed me to feel the punches, and he knocked me conscious (as opposed to unconscious) before I could achieve the degree of realism that I noticed in the other dream. |

How about "stabbed her to life"? |

Hmm, it sounds like you're increasing your clarity and stability by believing it will happen. Know you can do this all on your own. Activate your senses while calming down. |
