Possible to achieve full dream control?

I'm asking you on this forum who are the most experienced lucid dreamers, how great are your control? How often can you bring yourself to fully control your dreams and be the god of your inner realm? Is it possible to advance to such a streak that I could do it with expert control, do it at least a couple of times a week, perhaps anytime that I was having a dream?

Oh yeah it is definitely possible. It just takes some practice. The more complex and abstract the control...the harder it can be. I don't always have complete control, but I rarely go into "god-mode" anymore. I have had plenty of dreams where I just went around unleashing my wrath on any and everything I saw, lol. Right now I'm working on forming a dream army and becoming god of the dream world in a sort of scenario-like manner. I'm using dream plot and trying to build a story along with it...as opposed to just declaring myself god and wrecking shit.

I agree with KingYoshi, there really is no limit to what you can do. If you can imagine it you can do it.

Also that's a great idea, I should totally create my own dream army. It would be cool if there was some way to dream share so that we could unleash our armies against each other.

Wow that does sound fun. So tell me, Yoshi, do you build a bunch of stuff like the army, and then when you wake up, you remember what you've built so when you return you still have it and build up something more? Is that what you're saying?

Yeah, I am using the theory/main idea of the video game series "Suikoden." Basically, in the game you are building an army by recruiting the 108 Stars of Destiny. Not all of them are warriors either. Every army needs a good cook, doctor, servants/maids, whores, etc. Some of the stars come alone, some come with a posse/a small group of warriors/side characters/etc. So I plan on recruiting 108 different members and taking base at a castle. Then once I get my army built...I will basically see what happens (see if I get attacked, might go raid villages, etc). I haven't really thought that far ahead yet . So far, it has spanned 5 dreams. I just pick up where I left off in the other dreams. If I was trying to do a specific something...I just continue it in the next. Right now I only have 8 stars including myself....

      108 Stars of Destiny
      1 - KinYoshi - The God Star
2 - Kate Beckinsale - The Queen Star .... (actress)
3 - Seine - The Companion Star .... (a lunar wolf that is a DC from previous dreams)
4 - Gaia - The Temptress Star .... (character from the tv series "Spartacus")
      5 - Tron - The Program Star .... (Tron..lol)
6 - Dakota - The Reunion Star .... (the ghost of my deceased pet)
7 - Bill Hader - The Rock Star .... (actor)
8 - James Woods - The Lemon Pledge Star .... (actor)

I plan on recruiting bad ass warriors from video games/anime/history/etc. So far, it has been pretty unpredictable. I'm the type of dreamer who likes to go with the flow as opposed to completely forcing my will on everything. My mind seems to be very creative, so I like to let it create. Plus, it gets boring when you know the exact outcome of every situation. Right now my castle is pretty small, but I plan on expanding it as my army grows...just like in the Suikoden games. Also, in the games some stars require different tasks before you can recruit them. I'm hoping some will provide a challenge for me to recruit. Gaia was really the only one I had to convince...and I did it sexually , lol.

I just kind of got bored with the same 'ol types of LDs. Figured I would try something different...

Also how did you achieve this control? Can you describe your personal methods used?
Also... I think when I took a nap earlier today, replying to this post got me into having some kind of a lucid dream. It's all a blur, I don't quite remember much. I remember being aware of dreaming, recalling techniques to stay asleep, so I let myself fall back onto a couch that became a mattress or something. Barely felt the impact. Then I rushed off to try and find the fabled "Dream guide" I've heard so much about, don't think I had any luck with that...

Well, my control has been built up over my entire time here at DreamViews. You just keep practicing and learning from your experiences. Remember, everything in the dream world is created by your own mind. You just have to learn ways to convince yourself/truly believe things will happen. Like for instance, you are in a lucid dream and you are running real slow for some reason and want to fix it. You try to just will yourself to go faster...with no luck. Next you attempt to pump your arms violently, but no luck. You look down and notice your shoes are untied. You decide to tie your shoes and now you can run at high speed. This is just an example of course, but it is small tricks like this that can help sway your mind into thinking you solved the slow running problem. Just be creative and try out all kinds of things. After several dreams you will begin to figure out what works for you and what doesn't. Keep in mind that is very easy to "find" things in a dream. Simply think about what you are looking for, look around for it, even call it by name out loud as you look. Much easier than simply summoning something. Control really is all about practice.

Fascinating. Do you have any links to any good guides or some part of the forum that step by step walks you through learning lucid dreaming?

Well, there are several WILD guides I know of for sure. There is also a DV Academy here on the forum where members actually teach lucid dreaming. You could check it out and see if that is something you would be interested in. I'll look through the forums and see if I can find some guides for you.

Ah, the thing about lucid dreaming is there are infinite ways one can induce them. What works for some, may not work for others because everyone's mind is different. I would suggest experimenting with and trying out several different guides/techniques until you find out what best suits you. Here are a few I scraped up...

      Some general induction guides...

      Lol.

Rough translation for those who couldn't follow that: "I'm the best LDer ever and can do whatever the hell I want, like have sex all the time because I don't have a girlfriend/boyfriend. Also, how do I have LDs every night? It's bullshit that doctors tell me I can do this, but I can't because I remember every single one of my dreams and they aren't always lucid! What gives? There's gotta be some magic pill that fixes this. Do you guys know what it is?"
