Will myself into having a LD without any methods

So I was in bed but didn't feel like wilding (too late to dild) so I just layed in bed Will myself into having a ld for a hard 10 minutes or so

Dream:
had 3 dreams before that) Then I showed my bestfriend my house I say "Well this is my house" Hes like ok then He said your lucid Im like WTF then relised I was dreaming so I walked off then woke up STUPID HEAT woke me up I was sweating (I live in australia its summer) So then I went back to sleep had a few more dreams then My bestfriend Kailum popped up again & said I was dreaming again I was like WTF realised I was dreaming (Hard to explain the LD wasn't very stabilized also the dream recall was bad)
So Me & my twin brother was in this destroyed city we walked around then saw these 3 cars Exactly the same im like Fuck yeah (I was gonna drive them but) then for some reason I did I dream spin then found myself somewhere else in the destroyed city. There was this huge rush of hot chicks they were all running to this door then I grab one of them & say what are yous doing? She said theres a huge sale Me: WTF this is a destroyed city why would there be a sale here Her: Blank face Me: wake up then said FAAAAAAARK

Congrats on achieving lucidity :D! Sometimes you cab get these spontaneous lucids simply because you have knowledge of LDing. Visiting and posting dream views alone can spark some random lucids as well. It is always good to keep your mind on dreaming throughout the day and hopefully that will translate into the dream state as well. Again, nice job and good luck with your future efforts!

If I think for a second that something in a dream is off that brings me to realization that I am Lucid. Before I could do that I had to do Reality Checks as often as possible. My RC is to push my finger through the palm if my hand -if I can do that, then I am Lucid! RC's are a very important part of LD.

Yeah what you did by willing yourself to have the dream is really similar to MILD. The more you want it and expect it to work the higher your chances of success.

That's one way to look at it, but will induced lucid dreams aren't really recognized by dreamviews as an actual technique. Since it's pretty much a MILD.

On the first lucid dream (when the heat woke you up) you could have used DEILD to have another lucid dream.

EDIT: now that I think about it the heat would probably hurt the second LD as well.

Isn't realising you're dreaming in the middle of a dream a DILD anyway?
