Icy's LD Skill of the Day...

      -Teleportation-

If you can achieve teleportation as a skill in your dreams you can do anything and use that instead of possibly waking up from your LD.

      How to teleport:
      1) Recognize you are in an LD
      2) Think of your "happy place". Be honest with yourself...so you can easily subconsciously visualize it.
      3) If your dream starts to collapse in on itself or take you over. You know you can "go" to your happy place.
      4) Try going there if you ever obtain dream control in your dreams.

This is just my recommendation folks...if you have any suggestions feel free to post them.

      Sincerely,
      ~Icy

This is a cool thread, and I thought I'd just suggest another method (my personal favorite).

      Spinning teleportation;
1 - Spin around really fast, so fast that you can no longer recognize the environment around you.
2 - Start thinking of the desired location, imagine yourself being there. You have to convince yourself!
      3 - Exit the spin.
4 - You are either in the desired location, or the starting location. If it didn't work you could always try again!

I am fair and square, loud and clear. Yet, you associate me with fear.
Laugh of joy, or shed a tear.. You'll find no mercy here!
Though I sound bad, you hold me dear. I'm your satisfaction's engineer!
      What am I?

Interesting. So you recommend teleporting to a special place in order to increase the dream clarity? I personally have never tried teleportation, I just fly up into space and then back down to Earth at the spot I want to be at (If I want to go someplace on Earth).

I'll try the spinning technique when I get a chance, Orior.

Yeah. The way teleportation would work in this method is by imagining yourself being destroyed toe-to-head in a dream...

Regardless, slowly or fast is choice, but know that when you re-appear you should be in your happy place. This techinque requires ALOT of control but ive done it in a lucid before...just in a different method by using portals and a map.

I think Orior's method probably works as well..the only thing I have against his method is it could possibly leave you dizzy or even wake you up if you get spinning too fast...my method requires you to imagine being destroyed and knowing you CAN reconvene in your happy place...so its just not as intense.

      Good post though Orior!

Bump because this is a skill I think every lucid dreamer should try and master...

      1) It can help you "run" from a collapsing dream.
      2) It can help you "run" from the same dream collapsing because youre running (which can be fun actually to try and outsmart the dream)...

Think of the movie inception...they ran from the collapsing dream...but in a lucid dream YOU can control mastering an ability like teleportation is a key element in my book.

Read my profile visitor posts about teleportation if you so desire. Then add me to your friends list to bounce ideas off each other!

      Sincerely,
      ~Icy
