Anybody change the color palette in your dream?
I was thinking of things to do in a dream. Color inversion came up. I'm not sure how one would do this as it isn't a physical thing that happens in your dream.
Verbal commands? Closing your eyes and expecting the change?
I would like to hear from people who may have tried this or would like to.
I've made a dream black and white before, it was a Sin City themed dream. Never tried color inversion though, that would be really hard because I wouldn't know all of the color opposites. My brain would have to guess at it.
The way I did black and white though was to summon this big lever on the side of a house, and at the top it said color, the bottom said B&W. I pulled the lever all the way down and there was a loud clack and suddenly everything went black, then gradually everything faded back into focus, but now in black and white.
That was just something I had planned on trying before I even went to sleep. I closed my eyes and imagined how it would work a few times. That way I was ready before I ever entered the dream. The specific way you plan on doing it isn't really important, what's important is that it makes sense to you, and you can believe in it happening. Expect a certain result, and it will happen.
edit: Hey I just thought of something, putting on special glasses would work pretty well too.
Eye drops?
I guess to familiarize yourself with total inversion, watch some videos that are inverted.
I guess, middream, it wouldn't be perfect, but you'd get a good approximation for the psychedelic feel of it.
Never done color inversion, but color filters aren't to hard. I like putting a red filter so it's like looking through rose colored glasses.
Cool. What about colors humans haven't seen before? I'm not sure we can quite imagine that.
I don't know if we can actually imagine that, but imagine having a memory of some shade of color no one has ever seen before as soon as you wake up. It'd be impossible to describe to another hahahaha.Quote:

I think eyedrops would work, or maybe glasses.

The possibilities are endless for dream senses. And considering you can turn into a quadraped and actually feel four feet not two arms two feet, they're all possible, save the last one maybe.
I've made the colors of my surroundings blur slightly and then change to black and white before.
I've also changed the colors of various things, including an apple (red to green), the kitchen sink (to gold), and my eyes (as for them, they've been pink, red, blue, orange, and green!). :P Now that I mention it, I haven't really made a DJ entry about these things.
I just suddenly got an idea, I want to get like a dream master control thing in my next lucid, maybe I can do this
Scenery -> Colours -> Greenery -> Wine Colour
I plan on making it work like an Ipad :D
