First Time hardly successful but shows I will soon be ready to be god.

I have been interested in dream control for about a month or so. I have had a couple times where im councious, but I lose focus and go back into thinking my dream is reality. So recently read that if you rub your hands together you get that focus. As soon as I rubbed my hands together I had this insane feeling of full blown conciousness and clarity of my dream. But I almost instantly fell to the floor in my dream. I was just laying there for like 20 seconds or so (or whatever unit is used in dream time bahaha) worried that I may be stuck like this, but snapped out of my dream when I really wanted to.

any little hints you guys have?

Rubbing hands together is more used to increase vividness. I would do a RC immediately after becoming aware of consciousness. That will give you your full lucidity control. Always have a goal set in mind when you become lucid so you don't just get too excited and run around in a circle and end up waking up too fast. Running might help as staying in one spot too long will cause you to lose some control in most cases. But don't move too fast, take your time. Grab on to something and pay close attention to the details. -Chase

Thanks for the heads up, man. May I ask what an RC is? I'm new to this lucid lingo.

In my first (only) lucid, I began losing vividness, so I rubbed my hands together annd that made the dream a lot more vivd.

Another tip for the future start simple by exploring you dream and examining every sensation within the dream. That way you will become a little more familiar with what your dream scene may produce on a reoccurring basis.
