      Sensation

ANOTHER THREAD BY ME.... sigh.. sorry for being such a n00b.
I had a DILD the other night, I'll just skip through how it began, what I did, and get straight to the point-
I tried to drink some water from a tap in my dream. I held my hand below the tap to collect the water in it. I then brought my hand to my lips, and drank the water. The water's taste, texture, look and general feel was all very realistic, however, there was a problem..
Though I could taste the water... I couldn't feel it at all! When the water was pouring into my hands, I could see that it is there, but my hands didn't feel anything.. not the coldness of the water, neither it's weight. My lips didn't feel anything either.. my tongue could feel its taste and coldness.. but still, it couldn't feel it's weight. I tried to fix this by concentrating on my sensations with little success. I kept on trying, but nothing worked.
How can I fix this, what am I doing wrong?
Also, in my LDs, my body feels really weightless, how can I make my body feel more realistic? (Again, I couldn't give my body weight in my dreams when I tried either)

Just don't think about it to much. Some dreams are more vivid than others. If you think about the fact that you can't feel it then it might cause the expectation that you won't feel it. If you believe that you will feel it then you will.
