Need help on how to "see" more clearly in LDs.

I had an LD last night with WBTB method
But, because I wanted a vivid dream, i didnt just go off flying or whatever, I rubbed my hands, and used the clarity now command, but still everything was pretty blurry.
I'm pretty much a beginner and haven't had many lucid experiences so i dont know if its common at first, but my LDs don't seem like what others describe at all. I read many times how realistic and vivid LDs are but I have never had an LD that was vivid or realistic. Any ideas on how I can "see" and "feel" more real other than the methods I used above?
      Thanks.

When you're stabilizing the dream, you should focus on the sense that you're stabilizing with, for example, focus on the feeling in your hands as you rub them together. You should ideally stabilize with more than one sense as well, like taste for instance. I know someone that licked the ground to stabilize a dream that was fading. That's a bit drastic just to improve the vividness of the dream, but you get the picture. You should try doing things that you know will draw your attention to a specific sense.

Look at your hand from close distance, like 4 - 5 inches. CONCENTRATE on every line on your hand. Done.
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

Here are some ways I can think of to do this.

      Put on glasses
Focus on things and try to pick out even the most insignificant details
Rub your eyes believing that they were watery from allergies or something
Take a pill believing it will make your vision clearer

Rub your hands, but take your time, you don't have to rush it, as it will probably make your lucid longer if you do it properly.
Rub our hands and really concentrate. Say some command whilst your doing it and watch as everything around you becomes brighter and more vivid. Keep doing it until it doesn't work anymore
      Or:
      Spin around really fast.
Take your eyes out and clean them, preferably with cloth.
