      creative imagination/vision training techniques?

I'm trying to put together a schedule for myself that I hope will make me be able to be in more control when lucid. So my question is do anyone here use some creative imagination/vision training techniques to train their ability to control/change their lucid dreams (and in that case what techniques do you use)?

Wouldn’t this exercise be called Image Streaming?

If so I can recommend a good site.

I have no idea, but if you know a site I will check it out

I was thinking about exercises like imagine myself looking at a simple object and then slowly morphing it into something else and after awhile back again (or something like that). By training myself to do things like that while awake I hope to be able to use that training somehow while LD.

A site that i found quite helpful for "Creative Imagination Techniques" was this site on Image Streaming by a guy called Win Wenger. It might be a little simple in its description, but its a wonderful place to start.

If you become more interested in it, there are various sites around the net, like with Lucid Dreaming, you have to filter to find the good ones.

WikiPedia has a good article:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_streaming

You can try visualizing a painting - think of it as if you are painting a picture or a mural using your past experiences or memories (for example a favorite place you like to visit), then let it envelope around you. You can do the same thing with a TV screen or a video camera...

I missed it, but it's something i've often thought about, found myself with time on my hands, staring at a salt pot!
      ahem.
      i'll try it again though...
I guess you just meditate on it, right? and think 'what if this wasn't a salt pot, but turned into my notebook?'
      that kind of thing...

try to go back and make them last.'

Well I seem to be much more in control while lucid now.
I don't know if the techniques have anything to do with it but I still belive doing stuff like this must be helpful for lucid control so I will continue with it.

Yeah that sounds like techniques I've used. At first just visualizing the salt pot and "looking " from all angles without it changing in some way would be hard. When it's stable morph it into something else and hold that image stable.
After this try bigger things like a room or whatever and play around with that...
