      Thumbs down Spinning Fail

I have had three WILDs this morning, and it was great, except for one thing:

In one of the dreams, I wanted to spin in order to stabilize it, but it got me nowhere. Everything including me just faded away into nothingness, yet I was still asleep. Later I woke up.

I never spin, instead I always rub my hands, but this time I wanted to try spinning.

Anyone had this happen to them?

Yeah, spinning can be a little too much for me if the dream is in a fragile state. I never spin when when I feel like the dream is collapsing, I choose to focus very closely on objects and rub my hands at the same time. It's just one of those things you learn from experience.

Congrats on the 3 WILDs, that's pretty impressive!

Yeah spinning doesn't work for me either, instead what happens is, it all smudges together like a messed up painting whilst i'm spinning. Colors from say my living room or a tree i see outside will begin to mix, colors from my piano and the ground will begin to mix all up and then i fall down and its over.

Spinning seems to work sometimes for me, but when you spin, you lose focus on the things around you which can result in you waking up or make everything black. Make sure you focus properly on where you are and what the things around you look like whenever you spin, that's why it's common to use it for teleportation.

I always rub my hands and focus my eyesight whenever I want to stabilize. Touching the ground is something I usually do whenever the dream gets unstable as it roots me to the place I'm in and activates my sense of feeling.

Personally I use spinning for teleportation, not dream stabilising.
