WILD get up fast, slow, or doesnt matter?

Well last night im almost sure I did a WILD.. After concentrating on being relaxed for a long time, my eyes started moving very very rapid, almost to a point where I was shaking. Well after that, it all just stopped slowly I waited about 10-20 minutes after that to make sure nothing else was going to happen. So I opened my eyes and looked at the clock quickly then looked away and looked back.. still the same, read a little thing, looked away, looked back, was the same.. So my question is, should you open your eyes very slowly and take your time?

It probably doesn't matter, but I would think slowly. Think calm and peaceful so as not to unduly disturb yourself.
