      9th Lucid, still some problems

      Hey!!!
Had my 9th lucid today, I stabilized it...
All went like normal, but then I noticed I can feel my sleeping body, paniced.
Got over it, but when I was talking to one guy. I blinked accidentally and woke up!
Any help, on how not to blink in a dream?
How can I keep myself from feeling my body?
      Lucid dreaming since September 2011!!!
Lucid goals: Jumping out of a car going at high speed and crashing into an oncoming car, completely destroying the car, leaving me unharmed. [ ],

When you start to feel the body just don't try to blink , try to close your eyes more and dont even think about opening them.
I had something like this before just don't blink and you will go deeper into the dream.
Also you can try to think about something else.

I've had similar problems in the past. My ''eyes'' would close and if I tried opening them I'd just open my real eyes and wake up. The best way in my opinion is to simply forget about your physical body entirely. Do things which will make you focus on your dream-body and the dream-world likewise. Something which I've done a few times (and had success) is to harm my dream-body in some way, be it throwing myself face first on to the floor or smacking walls with all my might, etc. Your brain makes you experience what it feels works in accordance to your actions, thereby creating strong ''physical'' feelings.

      Hi there my friend,
Congrats on your 9th LD . Anyways, I've experienced that problem of yours back then. What I recommend you to do in order for you to avoid blinking is don't think about it. Instead of thinking about your real body, just engage yourself in something that is distracting. I know it's really hard to ignore it but once you are able to engage yourself to something that is distracting, I'm sure blinking won't be any of a problem to you. Just keep practicing and I'm sure you'll be able to wander in your dreams without worrying about your dream body. Hope this helps

Congrats on 9 lucids so far, I had a similar problem before where my eyes would literally close on me during the dream and my vision would fade, I would panic and actually use my fingers to pull my eyelids apart, but it wouldn't work for long. Like the others are saying, you need to not focus on it, rather focus on something else, which sometimes is easier said than done, also if you do feel your eyes start to close or blink or whatever, instead of panicing and trying desperately to re open them, focus on your dream body, yell loud verbal commands like "eyes open" which actually worked for me when it happened. I've had almost 30 LD's now, which is by no means a lot, and I still get problems that I have to find ways around, and every mistake you make is a learning process

Don't be discouraged, I know I felt like you too before, because there was a time where even though I was having more LD's, my control was getting less and less, stay motivated and keep practicing, good luck!
