Help not waking up due to excitement / Help achieving more regular LDs.
I realize there are other posts about this topic so if anyone knows of specific ones that address methods to control this I would appreciate it.
Getting too excited causes my lucid dream to fade and forces my consciousness back into my body. This of course causes me to wake up.
I realized during my last lucid dream that it isn't an INSTANT thing. The more excited I get the more the dream starts to slip and fade away.
For example if I am having sex... Either before I start or right away during I feel my dream start to fade. This usually causes me to "rush" and I just end up waking up.
I am not new to Lucid dreaming. I have been doing it most my life. However it is sporadic and only happens once every month or two. Dreams are usually short because of the excitement factor.
How do I stop excitement from ending my dreams?
I have a feeling there must be a method because they don't just end, they fade. There must be a way to stop them from fading / ending.
I once heard there was a method ... maybe it was spinning? Some activity you do to keep the dream from ending... or fading away.
The second part is how do I attain more regular lucid dreams? I know I have the ability but have no control over when they occur. Any previous threads with specific help or your own opinions / answers would be great.
Thanks
