A new method of creating things

So I accidentally came up with this in a LD: Look at a dark area. Turn off lights, whatever you need. Imagine the object/person you want being there. You should se a silhouette of the object/person. Light up the area while still focusing on the silhouette and it should light up in full detail.
I believe this works because it is far easier to imagine a silhouette than a full detail image, given the reason for it being a silhouette (darkness) lighting up the area should add full detail without much visualization effort.

Not a bad way to create things. It doesn't sound like something I'd use often because I prefer other methods but I do like the concept.

      Sounds like a good plan.

Hmm. I always had problems with darkness in lucid dreams. If i go to a dark place the dream often starts fading. Guess i just need to work on my control.

to acidream, this might have to do with the fact that when you are in the dark you are not getting a lot of visual sensation which is one of the more powerful senses in a dream. Next time you find yourself in a dark area try to hold onto things and try yelling so that you can at least keep those two senses (touch and hearing) recieving some form of stimulation, and like you said, working on your overall control wouldn't hurt as well as verbal commands.
