I've been experimenting recently with having a "godzilla dream" no luck really... anyways one idea for extreme body changes that ive been trying, since i suck at changing shape, is to decide before that i was going to have a non- lucid dream of that form and use that as my dream sign also. It could take a while to work but if you keep at it you should have the dream eventually.

I'm no good at forcing myself to have a certain type of dream. The closest I've ever gotten to body changing is last night I got my arm to get alot longer. but then I lost lucidity....

I never even knew that this could be done. Then again it is a dream so who knows what is possible.

I was thinking about this thread today and I realized its probably easier to embody a dream character then to will yourself to change in alot of cases where the change is extreme. Anyways you could find the character and just will the emobodyment, or jump inside of him, cut him open and wear his skin or wahtever else seems easiest to force the change if you cant just will it.

I've always been able to transform into a werewolf. It started years ago as a reoccuring dream--I would transform and rage, and then when I perceived the fear of my victim that was enough to satiate my rage--and that rush of power would wake me up. This theme along with frequent flying dreams was an item I began to use to induce lucid dreaming. When I'd began to transform I knew it wasn't real. This transformation to wolf isn't so regular for me anymore, but there are times it feels right to transform, and it just comes naturally when I feel that way.

Once I morphed myself into a dolphin. The trick is to imagine yourself as a creature upon reaching Lucidity, & then say that you want to be a certain creature!

Hey sam. The fact that you're even asking means you're thinking about it too much.
It's no different from other dream control techniques. Just expect it to happen and make it easier to expect it to happen

If you need to, use a shortcut. Eg. reach into your pocket and pull out an eg. dolphin pill.
Then once you're a dolphin keep in mind that it had nothing to do with the pill - it's all just a matter of believing and expecting

thanks...That pill Idea is much smarter than I thought. but what if I don't have pockets? lol I'll find away. I find that alot of times I get so frustrated trying to do stuff that I forget I'm dreaming.

I have changed shape (lucidly) once. I said that I was going to be big and buff like a bodybuilder and my body got all muscley and then bubbled and then I was normal.

If you don't have pockets, then turn around and look at the bottle of pills on the floor!
(were they there the whole time? who cares! )

The point is to make it easier to believe. The other trick is to learn to believe better by expecting things to just happen. Don't think too much, otherwise your mind finds reasons why it won't work

      good luck

Yeah, the only time I changed my body in a dream (that I remember) was when I turned into my dog. It was when I was a kid, and I read those Animorphs books. I believed that I was an Animorph, that I had the ability to change into animals, so I could.

I've changed my body shape many times in LD. But I'm not sure if there's a recipe...

Once I was like a smoke - I passed between the door and floor of my room - it was very miraculous experience! waaa : )

I think that like everything else in LD, body shape depends only on the strength and concentricity of the intent. But I guess it has something to do with dreams changing. Have you ever tryed to close your eyes in lucidity? Closing dream-body-eyes rocks! You can open them and perceive whatever u intented to! Try it!

Just one little worry - some people wake up when they close and open their dream eyes
Sounds like it could be cool though

no no no : )))lol)))) You must keep lucidity! For someone who knows how to move his/her dream body it's quite feasible.

But there have to be no motion! Only intenting of closing-opening eyes - every try for real motion will awake u 4 sure : )))

I invented this method by myself - have no idea if someone else had try it! But I succeeded to stop thinking and saw the energy structure of the Universe in LD 10 years ago - using this closing-dream-eyes. In fact .. I think that this is the most important thing in my experience, which I could share here, in your wonderful site! Because contents doesn't matter, it's too concrete.. Methods does matter!

      Definitely different for eveyone.

I really think inspiration is a big part of it. One time I willed myself to turn into a werewolf, but it was to kill a guy who was after me. So it was kinda like "become deadly now or get attacked." I was semi-lucid I guess, so I thought I was in real danger. But I just remember concentrating really hard and pushing, as if I was trying to shit a brick. Worked.

Glad to hear that it helps I was pretty certain it would though.
I've never been a giant. When I fly somewhere I know and look down I can actually feel my brain working overtime trying to build up an accurate map of the world
I'm guessing I'd experience the same effect.

It's interesting, I'm not very good at achieving lucidity but once I'm there I usually don't have any problem with changing body shape. I have never been able to fly though, the best I can do is hover if I've fallen off a cliff or something...
