I've been thinking about doing this but haven't got around to it yet. My goal for doing this is to stay more focused and on track of what I want to accomplish in a lucid. My reason for that is I get to distracted by shit in my lucid to actually do what I always want to do. Just wondering if anyone else has a "to do" list part of their dream journal and if it benefits them in any way. Any advice/input would be appreciated, thanks.
I have a list of goals, but in my written journal at home, not the online one here. Most of them involve revisiting certain DC's that I felt were significant in some way and talking to them. Right now I am trying to accomplish Shared Dreaming and also finding my Dream Guide. My other goals are to find my power animal, grow wings and fly with them, and shoot energy from my hands.
I definitely think it's helpful to have a specific goal. Before when I would become lucid I would automatically start flying around, have sex, or just explore the landscape - and would sometimes lose lucidity quickly. When I was finally able to form and remember a goal, it helped me to be more focused and stay lucid longer.
I recently completed my last goal of finding Nietzsche (my favorite philosopher) and having a conversation with him. It definitely lead me to some interesting things and taught me new skills, even if the actually conversation with him was weird nonsense.
Alright, thanks. I still haven't come up with a specific goal haha I still can't think of a good one.
