      Elementalism Lesson 1: Rain magic

Through meditation and lucid dreaming I took the next obvious step and began to practice sorcery. In all actuality we ALL practice magic every day, but we have made up new names for it.

There are several classes of magic users that still exist in the world.
I am not going to go through them though because I have yet to get my masters in anthro, hehe.

I am a Bard-Sorcerer. A Bard being a muscian, artist, writer, actor etc. whom uses their will, or willpower, or charisma to cast or perform acts of great talent and imagination. A Sorcerer is like a wizard, but a wizard relies on his Intelligence and perhaps less wisdom, a Sorcerer relies on his will or charisma and wisdom. The two mix quite well.

Anyway, I did not think I could cast, but my will is semi-irradic, I have to be in the right mood to perform certain great feats.

Enchantment and illusion are easier. Convicing ppl you are right is an art, acting, these are your allignments. But you have to be careful, lieing costs karma, and manipulating ppl for evil purposes means that your 'magic' will actually use you.

One day my personal power was incredibly high. I had just gotten home to the mountains from texas and felt great, I also had bud for one of the first times in a week, so I drove out into the mountains to almost 10,000 ft. I sat on top of a small mountain and watched the sky. I began to meditate.

Here you may ask, "Blu, what the fuck does this all have to do with lucid dreaming?" well, here it is.

I use the same technique I lucid dream with when I meditate. In fact, when performed properly, they are almost the same. One can go anywhere, do anything.

I listened. Sitting on my mountain I smoked and listend to the trees and slowly with the breeze imagined leaving behind me and I began to feel the needles, here the wind blowing over a billion needles! I meditate and move my body in and out and through them all. I sit in peace. I am silent for a half hour.

Ater this I began to write (I am a poet sometimes) and watch as dark clouds roll over from south park over back across the west side of Pikes Peak. They are dark yet small spring rain clouds.

It is time to meditate again.

I close my eys and ascend the Jhonnas, swept up by the storm now blowing all around the base of my small inbetween BLue Mtn, and watch the storm with my eyes closed. Here I dream I am in the clouds
      that i am the storm
      that i am nothing
the storm collects and is all around, all over and above me, heavy with rain.
this goes on for almost and hour, i never feel a drop of rain.

then at some precise moment I decide to open my eyes
the clouds went around me, they were pouring and thundering all around for miles, and somehow a small place I was in went untouched.

then I looked up, a triple r blazed brightly overhead, intersecting one another in a way that I didn't think was possible.

It is the most spectacular thing I have ever seen. I still don't believe it, but I wrote it down later, I was there, hehe. Lucidity is amazing.

So now the question is, what is real lucid dreaming? It can be crossed over and applied to the daytime if you have a strong enough will. The way a dream is handled is the same way that life is handled. I can see the fragility of the dream world, and slowly I am seeing the illusion of this one. It can be controlled the same way that one dreams. To achieve this, however, requires that one train the mind to not think, to un-try, to do the opposite of what intelligence suggests because, lets face it, none of us are wizards, we all have to use charisma to cast spells nowadays, and the same goes for the lucid dream.

      Good lucidity = charisma

and a bit of wisdom never hurts.

I want to say that I do not know how magic works, but I have cast many spells, seens many, studied many different types of ethereal wisdom and through my lucid dreaming I am definitly able to utilize certain spells.

But the more extreme spells, like neutralizing weather, take a different eneergy then everyday magic. It takes crazy neutrality (you cannot think about splitting clouds or try to force things, god seems to laugh at sorcerers for that) and incredible will. I would suggest that I was only able to perform such a feat by luck of my happiness at the time and the pure focus I had just attained form intensly long meditation sessions weeks prior along with fasting and vision questing (dallas style).

If you try to 'perform' magic karma will not let you, you have to let it happen. I even like to assume it's happy coincidence, but I can cast certain spells consecutively, so I am conviced that such feats can be learned.

All the same. I sometimes recall that place and time in dreams. It is one of the best feeling I have ever experienced. I think meditation lucidity and magic are all madatory steps in a balenced life, wouldn't have it any other way.

By casting spells in your lucid world, one can meditate, go back, find those lucid memories and utilize them. Elemental magic, to be precise, works both ways in both worlds. Lucidity is sooooo important to the diviners. It is a clairity of mind. It is the calm from which power and energy can be drawn and manifested physically in the material world.

Happy dreaming. Hope I turn a few sorcerers, hehe.

If any of you have any moral obligations about what I just said, my background is christian and Taoist...eventually we learn that all energy is the same, as are all justifications.

for further information read Carlos Casteneda...or the bible...or any religion, they all have spells somewhere. Send me mail if anyone needs help with class idetification (self) or ethos of instruction (religion, practice). I have learned spells from all religions and will openly discuss all beliefs. peace[/i]

I began studying the lessons of Carlos 26 years ago at age 12. I obtained my first book on witchcraft at age 8 (I still have it). Stood in many circles, practiced with many branches, walked many paths. Final conclusion: All the same illusion, just manipulation of energy. Actually it is more of a manipulation of Self since we ARE energy.

Fuck magic. Magic is only in dreams. Science is taking the place of magic in terms of making the impossible possible. Not that real world magic has ever made the impossible possible, it is just a word to describe the illusion of impossibility or something inunderstandable.

you havent been keeping up with science have you....

      They are stumped...

Quantum mechanics is kicking sciences ass...

They still do not understand particle pair transmission

They still do not understand how in vaccum matter materlises and dematerializes

      Perception ALTERS quantum desisions...

Reality is based on the perception of it...

We do not exist due to reality, reality exists because of us.

Magics real, once you can get over the hurdle of opening your eyes, and actually trying to learn about it and experiment with it instead of just laughing at it and hiding behind flawed science...

Dont get me wrong I am all for science, I blend it with my spirituality and it works... quite well =) The two work in conjunction with the other, they are one and the same its as Blulanou says... its a matter of Will, and science has already PROVEN that our will changes the events occuring in the quantum world... which then relates to the normal sized world.

Im a Techno Sorcerer myself, I can make or break computers I know a good deal about them but I dont have any degrees and most of the time I mess with it untill it works =) , same with mechanical things.
Im also good field projection Ki, A friend and I (sober!) were parcticing field manipulation, making an enclosed ball in your hands, I tried one handed, its harder, because you have to enclose the top an make the field bend just right, my friend watched and commented describing everything I was doing, he is basically blind without his glasses but he can see energy an resonance without problem. We decided to make a large ball, using both of us, I could feel the thing take on mass it was insane, I then decided to kick it up a notch and dumped a lot of energy into it trying to make it more stable, he siad whoa dude, ease down your going to knock me over... I didnt say a word to him I didnt make a move, but he could see and feel the energy just as I could, although I have a hard time seeing it, I can feel it though...

      Rant rant rant... anywhoo

Magics real, get over it and study it.

and yeah it realates to lucid dreaming very much, lucidity gives us a chance to let go, once we can totaly accomplish that here... you will be able to jump 20 ft and you will be able to lift cars...

Oh, I was... in some cases I think magic is real, I might have had some small magic sometimes. I think magic though would take years to obtain or something and much meditation and all of that stuff. I think most/some magic is coincedences or drugs. Like for me one time when I was drinking out of a water fountain near a vending machine, I was going to press the button on the vending machine when I was done drinking. I fully expected the drink to come out and really wanted it to and it did. More coincedence though... who knows....

I don't beleive in magic like fireballs out of your hand or flying though.

Also, magic may be mistaken for many things now a days. Like there is this one person who survived in a container full of ice for like 30 minutes or more. All he did was do yoga and breathing excersies.

      Whatever, c ya.

a precognitive dream is a dream where you basically "see the future"
      pre = before,
      cog = know

pre cog nise = know before
      (re = again)
re cog nise = know agian

      get it now?

      moving on...

Astral Projection (Out of Body Experiance)
where you..leave your body in an discorporate form..

Blulanou... wherever you are, you need to get yourself to Eugene Oregon, and go to Crater Lake. YOU MUST go there... Its a nexus and a strong one, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, all of them balanced and incredibly strong,

The lake was formed after the collapse of an ancient volcano, posthumously named Mount Mazama. This volcano violently erupted approximately 7,700 years ago. That eruption was 42 times as powerful as the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. The basin or caldera was formed after the top 5,000 feet of the volcano collapsed. Subsequent lava flows sealed the bottom, allowing the caldera to fill with approximately 4.6 trillion gallons of water from rainfall and snow melt, to create the seventh deepest lake in the world at 1,932 feet.

Take the boat tour, its like 30 bux but its worth it, get there early take the tour get off on the island and spend the day...

Firstly its called Wizard Island. Its a cindercone volcano..., there are actually stories from the tribes that lived near there about braves going down into the caldara when it was dry.

Well anyways, the water is pure snow and rain, PURE! well aside from the pollutants from the rain.. but its one of the purest natural sources of fresh water in the world...

You have not seen the color Blue untill you have seen this lake...and not just one color of blue... All the shades, its absolutely incredible.

So yeah... Go there, hike up wizard island and sit in the bottom of the crater.

I think even the most hardcore Scientist if placed there and told to just sit and listen, would say, there is something about the place... It remembers what It once was.

Sounds like a beautiful place, Seri. I'll have to add it to my list of "Goddamn these places are beautiful so I need to see them some day before I die". It's rough though, that list is so fucking long already.

As for magic, blu and seri, you guys are right. There is no difference between magic and reality, it's all just perception. Hell, if I was dumb and wanted to believe that my clothes got cleaned by tiny magic little men that live in detergent and swam around in the water of my washing machine and scrubbed away at the clothes while the machine was going, I could. So, if I happen to wish to believe that all of reality is just as magic as the things described as "magic" in stories and legends, then I can. So... I'm magic, your magic, he's magic, she's magic, my mom's magic, so is yours and so is that crazy old man holding up the sign that says "Sinners repent, the end is nigh". Whatever...

Hahaha... My mom isn't the "sharpest tool in the shed" and my dad sometimes makes fun of her for that. One time I asked her how something works (a light bulb?) and she told me that there is a little person in the glass ball that rides a bike all day and powers the light bulb....

Just today I told my teacher that tvs work by little midgets , yes little midgets who paint big pictures relly really fast and flash them on the screen.

      REALLLLL!

Thats an interesting analogy, They do exist they go under the aliase of electrons

Dont forget the little guy in the fridge that turns the light on and off, I seen him once hiding behind teh b33rz

Acutally yeah, life itself is magic...

You ever on a late october early november evening go to the beach on the east coast.. well the northeast, particularly the south shore of long islands barrier island, you will see some magic...

The water itself glows a dim green, and if you splash through it trails of fire follow in your wake, the sand also glows green when you kick it up.

I know they are called phytoplankton and it is their bioluminecence that is causing the glow, but experiencing that on a clear night with a crecent moon hanging in the sky makes it no less magical.

"A knight is sworn to valor.
      His heart knows only virtue.
      His blade defends the helpless.
      His might upholds the weak.
      His word speaks only truth.
      His wrath undoes the wicked."

Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined
