Question How do you tell when a dream is ending?

My plan is to become lucid, stabilize, and then do things. Then when the dream starts to end I wake myself up. Write the dream down in my journal. However, to do this I need to be able to identify when the dream is ending. And that is why I would like to know how to tell when a dream is ending.

what you need to do when you become lucid is relax and do a reality check then stabilize the dream. look at your hands closly. in dreams most of the time our hands or abnormal or different in some way and try pushing your finger through your hand. and stabilize the dream by using your senses like touching the ground or listening to the weather doing this will anchor you to the dream. then go off and do fun stuff.

when it starts to end the dream will start to get blurry or really bright and sunny or it could fade to black nothing.... "the viod" between dreams.

It fades. It would be nice if DC's told you that it was about to end.

I can usually tell because I start to sense my real body, most of the time I can delay an ending by stimulating my dream body

For me the dream starts to become less vivid and a little 'shaky.' I can always feel like the dream is fading away. I don't know it's just a feeling. You will know when the dream is ending.

It can be hard to spot it coming when are aren't very concious, but in high concious LDs you begin to realise lack of detail, lack of control.
