Really long lucids but very little control.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I was last on this site.
I've recently been struggling to get lucid. It happens maybe two or three times a month. I've found they are getting longer and longer though and they don't fade away as easily as they used to. However despite each lucid dream lasting maybe 5 minutes now I struggle to actually have control. A lot of the time colour fades or I can't feel anything so if I run or fly there is no sensation of doing so. I do have some control as I can make stuff appear if I try really hard but I can't really get fully conscious or interact with the world how I would like to.
Anyone got any idea of how I can make things more vivid and realistic?

Touch different things and rub your hands together while saying the line "I am lucid, the world is vivid". Don't forget to repeat these things every so often!

      thats weird, I can't relate.

shouting "CLarity!" used to work for me tho. Also if you feel like you are missing your senses, rely on your other senses and think about what you would like to be doing in that moment, and from experience, your other senses should come back and start filling in the gaps of void for u.. if you can't feel your body, go thru the feeling of moving and doing any motion you intend in your head, thinking it for long enough will make it happen (thats like YOU filling in the gaps) .. make sense ?

You should give spinning a try sometime. Dream spinning usually changes the landscape so be sure to remain aware throughout the spinning, but this usually stabilizes the scene and clarity. Basically its just spinning yourself around in the dream, similar to rubbing your hands together.

Also, when you become lucid, take a moment to calm and center yourself, and observe and take in all five senses in the dream. Again, this might help with clarity and stabilization with the dream. Actually talking to the dream itself, asking or telling it to be more vivid and clear, could give you some interesting results too.

This happens when someone is trying to hard in a long dream, but long dreams happen when you are not trying hard to have control. Some people really want longer dreams, but sometimes longer dreams you tend to forget certain scenes or is blinded or blurred in certain times.
