I enjoy water because it can be very pretty swirling around, in water spouts, turning it to ice crystals or steam. Very fun, but make sure you eventually can change one elemental state into another, just to build skills. An easy and fun one is turning a lake of water into a lake of flames.
Personally, I enjoy fire. I'm a bit of a pyro. lol
But, I'd love to control any element, in a sense that I can control volcanoes, earthquakes, storms, etc. I'd love to do some sort of thunder clap, to bring down large buildings or destroy enemies in my dream. I think that would be pretty cool. :banana:

I assume you're talking about the four elements wind, fire, earth and water that people thought the world consisted of back in the day. I've only manipulated fire to an extent and it's always fun to shoot out flames from my hands. Need a lighter for it to work properly though.
It's cliche, but I mostly use fire. I love blasting stuff with a good fireball.

Water. I love water, but.... I will have to try chocolate control in my next dream.
Of course we normally think Fire, air, water, earth, and the middle states steam, ice, lava. I like the idea of life as an element, and it is often included in standard elemental charts. Try this for a fun distraction in an LD. Take a Skittles candy or a coin or what ever. Place it on the ground and make it come to life as a growing plant. Make the plant do a Jack and the Bean Stalk kind of number. Maybe it sounds kind of boring, but I get a kick out of it.
im also a really big fan of the avatar series, and i wanted to be able to bend the elements any tips on doing it?
Start by just doing basic summoning like go to a sink and turn on the water, or decide to find a pond. You may decide to find a fire in a fire place. Get that far first. If that is easy try making the surface of the element ripple, and go from there. More advanced, try to light a match by looking at it. Work your way up.Quote:

Well I love water bending. Water appears in many of my dreams I guess it is just natural for me. Even though I would like to be able to control every aspect of the dream including the four elements.

Actually they are not shadows, shadows are two-dimensional.
I guess you could call them smoke, but they don't really feel/look like gas or smoke.

Well, I always fantasize about being an airbender, but whenever I'm in a dream, I earthbend. Well, I practice earthbending, the best I've done was break someones wall, i just ripped it right off. Every time I earthbend, I have to put my feet in some weird stance to hold myself down, then I use my hands to try to move some rocks. I'm usually pretty bad at it though, I wanna get better!
Never done lucid dreaming, much less dream control. x'D But I suppose when I get the hang of it I'll be doing a lot of...everything hopefully? Has anyone played the game From Dust? That's what I want to do. x'D

Unfortunately, I haven't had an LD yet (at least not one that I remember) but once I do enter one, I'm definitely gonna mess around alot with Electrokinesis. That's cryokinesis. I believe he asked what cyrokinesis is, which grants one power over the city of Cairo, Egypt.
Also cryokinesis is specifically ice. Water control is often dubbed hydrokinesis.
My favorite element to control would be snobbery but if I can't have that, then pleasure. Prepare to orgasm so hard you explode.
Cyrokenesis seems like a great element. I think I will train in cyro/hydrokenesis. Chocolate too :)

Discovered a new type of magic in my non-lucid the other day.
DREAM BENDING.
You take an opponents mind and you insert things into it. For example: You move your hands up, you focus on their mind and then you pull out a dream fragment of some sort. Examine it then try to put something bad in inside, like little creatures that eat dreams :) This would leave your opponent's mind eaten and empty.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned gravity yet, take away your enemies gravity and watch them mindlessly float upwards or plummet downwards? It would be amazing!
It would be cool to control electricity, you could cause a blackout in NYC and zap people! I don't really like hurting people in dreams though, I hate watching people suffer.
Wow it never occurred to me you could control all the elements! Ive only ever controlled wind, I think because when I was a little kid I often used to imagine I was controlling the wind in real life (LOL).
I like, and seem to be very good at controlling time. (if you class that as an element xD)
I'm probably best at controlling fire, though I want to control earth more, fire just comes easier to me, it's easier to picture than controlling earth I guess.
I've controlled plant life before(tree bending?)... Anyway, I can say i'm an adept when it comes to the element of fire.
Definitely waterbending for me! I'm preally good at manipulating water/liquids in my dream. Even in non-lucids, I waterbend a lot. It includes transforming water to ice, extracting water from the air and living things (such as trees and plants), and ofc blood bending ;)

Oh! I like this thread. I've found myself using fire a lot. Engulfing yourself and other things in flame is one of my favorite elemental powers to use in dreams. I noticed somebody meantioned the T.V. show Avatar, and although I wasn't the biggest fan, I did watch it for awhile- and it gave me some very interesting concepts to use in dreams. Like, one time I was locked inside of a pool-yard with a large black metal fense around it, so I pulled some of the water out of the pool, and directed the swirling water into sharp revolving blades that cut through the fence like the water bender girl did in an episode I remembered while dreaming. Elemental powers... simple, easy to remember, and always fun.
That's awesome :D I was never a fan of Avatar, but I do like the whole 'bending' thing.
Also, I don't know if this counts as elemental powers- but one of the things I truly, truly enjoy the most in a lucid dream is becoming a beast. Something between a bear and a wolf that allows you to run quickly on all fours. It's like heaven. Heaven or freedom, whichever you like the sound of.

The closest I've gotten to controlling an element so far is making water appear in an empty bottle. I mean, the concept sounds neat, but I usually get sidetracked with exploring.
