      Changing the Dream Scene?

Hey I have a quick question:
How do you change the scenery of a dream? In my lucid dreams i usually start out in my bed as a false awakening, but i would love to change the dream to a sunny beach or meadow . How can i go about doing this? Are there any known methods to change the scene of a dream? Thanks!

There are many ways to change it

1.) Open up a portal, eg. a mirror. Walk through it and imagine where you want to be.
2.) Close your eyes and spin around. I had weird results doing this .
3.) Imagine where you want to be, close your eyes, then turn around and open them.

There are probably more methods, but I'd suggest these. Hope it helps, good luck .

-Similar to the portal method you can use doors as portals, just expect the landscape you want on the other side.
-Walk around a corner expecting the dream scenery that you want to be there.
-Close your eyes and snap your fingers (what I do) while imagining the dream scene you want.

Basically all you need to do is obscure your vision and expect whatever you want to be on the other side. The doors/portals are normally easiest since your brain naturally associates them with changing location. Also be careful when you close your eyes. When you open them back up you may wake yourself up (it's happened to me many times )

Another powerful method which is REALLY effective is conspcentrating on something small on the ground(in your case, the floor. Just find a small stone, a pen or whatever small little thingy ) just look at the tiny thing on the floor, focusing on the sensory input you normally would get from the place you want to go. For example, if you want to go to the beach, focus on the smell of sea, the sound of seagulls, the feeling of sand under your skin, the warmth of the sun etc. look up, and there you are
