All pop songs have pretty much the same structure and many similar aspects, but each song has things that make it unique. Sure you might get tired of listening to pop songs (or in this case playing out the plot-line you described) if you did it for hours, but lucid dreaming isn't the kind of thing that you can just do mindlessly for hours on end. It's not something you can do everyday in the real world, so that's what makes it special!
IMO, it would be awesome to have the powers from Prototype 1+2. :)
Even flying around doesn't get boring.
Haha, it's such a silly song...
BUT IT'S SO CATCHY. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
But on topic, I think one's expectations of what is boring or not plays a huge role in the enjoyment of the dream. If you expect everything to be the same and easy you might get bored faster than if you pushed your mind to throw challenges at you. I might even compare it to the whole thing of journey vs. destination.
I just read through this whole pop vs lucid dreaming talk. Kinda funny, but it would be great to hear some weapons you all have in mind. I'm starting to think only physical or ranged weapons class as weapons. Magic is a little different in my point of view.
But I found a new type of weapon. The banana gun! It shoots out bananas. :|. It's super handy when exloring jungles and pissing off monkeys.
A towel.
What? Magic can be a weapon o.o It hurts people :chuckle:

But if you meant weapon as swords and stuff like that, then you should've said that :P
Last night, I was about to open a door. But instead, I stepped to the side, and punched through the wall with a flaming fist. That was fun.
