      Good idea to improve clearness.

I thought of this a few days ago, put on glasses! But if you're like me, you're going to forget to do it.

One time i made a vision headband. When it started to fade around my vision is just grabbed the vision and dragged it behind my head and tied it there. But i think it snapped cause it didnt work for very long.

Interesting...however I don't wear glasses or contacts so I doubt my mind would register it the same way. I mean you know how things look with and without glasses. Well...when I put on glasses everything looks crazy as hell so if that happened in a dream I'd be annoyed.

One thing that always helps to make things clear is to focus on the details of something...anything. The wrinkles in the palms of your hands...the sand/carpet you are standing on...the dirt on the wall...etc. Anytime you stop to focus on the little things your dream will become clearer. Try it.

I wear glasses so it'll probably work for me. I hadn't put my glasses on in a while (my vision isn't that bad) and I put them on and thought "Hmm...this would work well in a lucid dream!".

I've actually had a lucid dream where I reached up for some reason, and ended up taking off my glasses. xD IRL I have decently bad vision, things aren't as sharp even a few feet away... And It ended up making it look like it would if I took off my glasses normally.. It was odd. xD

Apparently glasses don't matter in Lucid dreams. I can see why, I think. It's because you only need them in the physical world. Your dream world isn't real light from a distant source, so it won't be fuzzy when it reaches your eyes.

I wear 'em, so I'll tell you as soon as I get a Lucid Dream whether it's true or not.

hey nightowl, in my last lucid, i became lucid and then flew up a little bit. i knew i would most likely lose lucidity so i tried saying increase lucidity over and over as i rubbed my hands. i woke up. is it useless to try these things when you are already beginning to fade?

did you try doing those things while flying? well if you did, i wouldnt suggest it. if your dream begins to fade, then staying in one spot and focusing on that rather than multi-tasking is a better idea.

Anyway, i cant say personally that rubbing your hands together works because i've never tried those kind of techniques. Sometimes they'll work and sometimes they wont. You gotta wake up sometime . If rubbing your hands together doesnt work for you, try concentrating on a detail of the dream, or falling backwards. I remember hearing one about trying to grab piece of your fading dreams and try to make it stay or something to...if all else fails, spin really fast or go through a mirror

Lately ive been having some problems with my vision in LD. Theyre perfectly clear but my field of vision is just round as a coin. Its a big coin so i see alot, but outside the view, like out of the focus sone, in the daily world, there is just blackness.
      Anyone had this problem?

this is going to sound silly, but i don't think it would work for me..because i wear glasses...
I put glasses on as a matter of course, so i don't think i'd appreciate the clarity in my dream...

I wear contacts but when my contacts arent in i wear my glasses and i noticed if i fall asleep while wearing my glasses then sometimes in a dream i am wearing my glasses and when i take them off the dream loses its clarity and when i put them back on it turns back to normal this is only if i fall asleep wearing my glasses though.

Just do what I do to increase vividness, not sure if it works that well but you guys can try it out, just lay your head down on the floor and put your feet on your bed or something, then just let your blood flow to your head, and blood carries oxygen to your brain, do it right before you go to sleep or when you wake up in the night, pretty sure it would work well.

I've taken glasses off in an LD before. My vision normally is horrendous. In the dream when I realized I had my glasses on (i normally wear contact lenses) i decided to take them off to see what would happen. Nothing changed. Everything still looked the same.
