Well, maybe it might just be because it was only my 4th LD, but I tried to clarify it by shouting clarity now, but i woke up :/ is there a reason to it, or was it just the end of the REM cycle ?

It is easy at first to wake from your LDs because it is easiest to have them when partially awake/ barely asleep. You will get better at becoming lucid in deeper sleep.
I would not try saying "clarity now." I have heard that before, but it seems pretty silly to me. Try instead touching something, and looking directly at something, while repeating "This is a dream."
Sivason is right. Try to use your senses, especially tactile, as much as you can. :D
Also you shouldn't think about why you're stabilizing too much. If you worry about the stabilization not working or pay too much attention to the fact that you're in your bed dreaming you risk waking up. Just stabilize casually with your senses. Sight and touch works the best for me, I also use to chew on something or sing to keep the dream stable. Some dreams can't be saved easily though, so don't worry!
