Dreams destroy themselves when I become lucid

Ive had about 4 lucid dreams in my whole life last night was my first intentional one, the problem I have is controlling them after I become lucid. It seems like a tornado runs through them buildings explode and disappear things become blury and I usually wake up. Last night after I became lucid I was in my front yard and it got crazy windy and my house exploded and blew away but I stayed lucid and ended up in front of some white warehouse. I tried to summon a girl but stupidly I didn't think of any specifically so these blurry figures with no faces came to me in red dresses. Then I lost lucidity I guess, I don't remember anything after that.

Basically will this get better with experience? Should I train somehow? How do I stop my dreams from destroying themselves? Thanks!

      Do you stabilize?

It gets better with practice, experience, and knowledge.

practice is different from experience because some peoplr have tons of experience but never practice.

Experience just comes from more LDs.

Knowledge needs to come from reading about lding online or in books.

I had my first LD this morning and it basically just melted and dissolved into nothing. I guess the only thing to do is keep trying

When you realize that you are dreaming and you want to control your dream then start doing some reality checks like rubbing your hands together, pinching a nose etc.

I m still very new to this (only 3 LDs) but in my first one at the moment I became lucid and did my RC everything started to vibrate and wanted to collapse and I remembered to rub my hands together it immediately stabilize and let me live my first LD for 4 or 5 min.

The second LD I got right after I became lucid I started to set objective right away (like behind this door there will be a mountain landscape let s go for it! ) and it worked really nicely. I kept "busy" doing stuff or expecting stuff to happen and I was able to fly for like 15 min it was just amazing.

My third LD I decided to let the dream goes and wanted to just live inside it and it was extremely difficult to remain lucid since every second the subconscious me was trying to regain power over everything...

So I hope my humble first 2 examples may help you a bit, and hope myself to receive some answer to my third example from someone...: Is it generally harder to maintain lucidity if you decide to explore a dream in "read only" mode instead or living a totally controlled by me LD?

      Thanks!
