Teleportation problem

So I have a problem with teleportation in LD.
I tried the door, closed eyes and the portal method but yet, no one actually works for me.
Everytime I try to teleport in space using the closed eyes method, I barely move and the world around me starts to break appart/melt after I open my eyes again.
The portal and door method have similar results. I go through them but I end up at the same spot.
Strange thing is I have no problems to teleport/travel through time, maybe because I don't try to get from one point to another. :/
So if any of you have some tips for me I would be grateful.

You can use your time travel technique for teleporting too, go back and fourth while expecting to be in different place! :P
There are many other ways to do teleportation, if something doesn't works, think up something else! Summon teleportation machine, get teleportation pill, make teleportation rune, and so on and so on. :)
