How To Become Someone Else In Lucid Dreams?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to lucid dreaming. Well that's if you consider around 2 to 3 months new lol, but I've been trying and trying!

Lol but what I wanted to know is how to become someone else in lucid dreams? or change your body in lucid dreams?

I'm slightly overweight and although it may sound odd, I've always wondered what it's like to be huge and physically fit like a bodybuilder. I figured that I could see what it's like in a lucid dream. I can either become some of the bodybuilders I do know in my dream or transform myself in a dream to look like them.

Do you guys know what I can do once in a dream that I could do this? Like meditating or focusing etc.? If anyone could help that'd be great, thanks you guys ^^

I've only had 2 lucid dreams; in my second one I was only semi-lucid, but I still managed to change what I looked like. For reasons that I won't take the time to explain here (since they are written in my dream journal), I felt the desire to change my appearance to look like Michael Jackson. Now, for me, I was in front of a mirror and I remember looking into it. I tried to will myself to change while staring in the mirror but that didn't work for me.

What did work was I turned around, and told myself that when I looked into the mirror, I would BE Michael Jackson. I let myself become fully convinced that when I turned around and looked into the mirror, I would look exactly like MJ. When I turned around, I became Michael Jackson, so it worked!

I'm sure there are other ways to do this, and as it's the only lucid dream I've had where I did such a thing, maybe my experience counts for a bit less then say, someone who's had a hundred LDs. Still, it worked for me, so maybe that would work for you too :)

Basically any way that you can imagine will work, will work!

For example, you could take a "bodybuilder transformation" pill? Or pull out your phone and there will be a transform button with various options in it?

Anything that you expect to work and know will work, will do exactly as you want and expect. Work!

To add, you could also try summoning DC that you want to look like and try possessing/taking control of DCs body and becoming them, works for some people, but as RDM said, there are as many ways to do it as you can imagine, experiment with them. ;)

True that.

I've found it also helps to have a reason why you want to be like them. Something to motivate you to really take on your desired appearance. Why do you want to be a physically fit human being? What is that you're really wanting out of that experience? Are there other, easier methods to get that desired result?

Sometimes you can get what you want indirectly, which can be easier.

It can also be more difficult. Depends on how your mind works best.

I recommend visualization in real life. Take some light weights, close your eyes, start lifting the weights (even just a 12 oz soda) imagine they are very heavy weights. Imagine it is a monsterous strain and that you can feel yourself becoming very strong. Memorize the feeling this imagining creates. Obsess a bit about how you are getting so strong and how wonderful you look. The whole time keep lifting the light weight and pretending.
Now, when you get lucid simply do this again knowing you actually can be that string because it is a dream. Look down and see bulging biceps. Nothing more complex than strong arms until you can see that. Then look at your whole body expecting to be ripped, you will be. Then enjoy going around in your new body. Good luck!

DCs stands for "dream characters"- People or other living things in your dream. :)
