Lightbulb Single Word Commands can be Powerful

Last night, during a semi-lucid dream, I had impressive success with dream control when I tried a new method. Instead of simply willing something to happen I gave single word commands. I made a rock float in the air by focusing on it and saying "Up." I made myself fly by saying "Fly."

Btw the spinning trick works for me when I feel like Im losing a dream. A few times I slowly spun in a circle then touched the walls to re-root myself in the dream. Feeling the texture of walls and other objects makes dreams feel more real to me.

Commands in dream control definitely works for a lot of people. I'm glad you found the best way to do Dream Control for you!

And yes, the dream will seem more vivid the more aware you are. It also anchors you in the dream since you stop thinking about your sleeping physical body, and more on your dream body and what you're doing in the dream! It can make your lucids last longer as well, with practice

Semi-lucid? Dreams can be either lucid or not, and if you were aware that you were dreaming you were lucid! And yeah, commands can be awesome for control, nice that you have found method that works for you!

This is the same way I whipped up a massive storm once. I find that after using a command for something makes it easier to will later on. (for example just the other day I was able to will a lightning strike on a particularly annoying dream character.)
