How long can you actually stay lucid in your dream?
Can you actually live up to years and years in your dream, or is it just an illusion?
I would actually like to relive life as a person with magic power.

Hi and welcome to Dreamviews, Jacen :)
That's a very good question you asked. We actually have a podcast episode that discusses the question of time dilation. You can check it out here:

Also, here are two great threads that include an in-depth analysis of how long lds may last or how long they seem to last.
Lucid Dreams and Time
Why is everything but dilating time possible in a lucid dream
Enjoy! :)
Will look into this, thanks.
Some might say waking life itself and time itself are an illusion. Perhaps time is relative in dreams and therefore those experiences are possible.
Personally I had a dream where i lived a life time but it was non lucid. There is also the possibility of persistent story lines where you dream something, and the next dream you have picks up where the last one ended. These can be experienced as lucid as well.
I think the best thing to remember about lucid dreaming is that nothing is outside the realm of possibility. Once you rule out the possibility, the likelihood of you experiencing that disappears almost completely.
