Hi guys
Today i've had probably my longest lucid dream ever
Few times like 4 - 5 i've tried to spawn a selected DC
For some reason it didn't worked
I've tried:
1. visualizing her
2. beliving that she's behind door and opening them (probably i did that)
3. asking dc's about her
4. screaming loud as heck and hoping that she'd spawn
5. visualizing her behind object or myself
None of them worked
Any ideas why?
Maybe it was just unlucky dream in which i had low as heck control :cheeky:

It's important to cultivate the strong belief that the person is really there behind you, behind a door, etc., it is more than just a "wish". The right mindset is that of creating a "fake memory" in your mind: behave like you just remembered that they're there, then turn to see them.
My first few "around the corner / behind the door" summons also failed, I think because it was more a wish than a solid belief. The thing that worked for me was (Dolphin's I think, where I first read it) technique: reach a hand behind your back, call to your desired DC to take your hand, then slowly bring your hand around to in front of you in the solid belief that they are there, holding your hand.

Just got this idea:
It's been my experience, that if I expect something nasty to happen in a dream, then it happens really rapidly.
How about using that to summon DC's?
Let's say you want DC X to appear, you could then quickly develop the fear, and expectation, that X will indeed appear right behind you, placing a cold, wet hand on the back of your neck. :shock:
That ought to do it ... :)
